The staff was not knowledgeable about their policies and had poor customer service. Management spoke over me and had an I dont care if shop here attitude. Avoid this location if possible. Go to Lowes instead, they’re friendlier there!

Where is the 0 star option? Some idiot from this location opened up a credit card under my name and ran up almost $ 10,000 in purchases. They purchased a couple of $ 500 Gift cards, 2 bathtubs, power tools and of course some snacks:/…this matter is currently under investigation but I just felt the need to warn others

Used the restroom and the bathroom was flooded. It happens but I told Erika K she told me it wasn’t her job. Not cool.

The staff here are overall very friendly. Special thanks to Nate and Alex helping me with the blinds. Nate helped me the first day and Alex helped me the next two days. He was very patient and attentive to my request. He went the extra mile for me. Thank you very much.

Having moved near by this location, I come here every so often. I like the staff — super nice and very knowledgeable. I need to shout out to Jonathan in the rental dept for all his help when my bf and I needed equipment after our new move. He was so informative about the different carpet cleaner machines and how to use each one and what to use it on! This is the biggest Home Depot in the area, so you will likely find what you need. If in doubt, just call them and they seem more than happy to help ya out!

Came all the way from the Midwest, had hoped to be able to take back some fruit trees… they don’t have any :/

Purchased a LG refrigerator about fours years. Paid the $ 89 for the extended warranty. The refrigerator died. Called the warranty service and they came out and said the compressor was bad and it would take a few days to repair it. Three days later they called and said because there was RUST near the compressor the warranty was declined. Contacted Home depot and they said the same. I live in a nice house in Huntington Beach, MILE from the ocean, it does not rain in my kitchen, there was never a puddle in my kitchen. But the LAST item of the warranty states that the warranty is void if there is any rust in or on the refrigerator. What!
No more LG or Home Depot for me. Lowes here I come.

Home Depot is HD… nothing special about the employees or selection. HD just happens to be close to our office. The one thing I hate about HD vs. Lowes are the dozens of sales people for solar, AC, windows, etc that roam the aisles pitching their products. Leave Me Alone! Yet, sometimes impossible to get the help you need finding stuff… if only the salespeople could help you?

Worker was being a condescending jerk when I asked a simple question.

I came here looking for plumber’s tape, to deal with a squirting spigot. I asked 3 different employees where I could find it and got 2 different answers and one employee who partially answered my question by telling me that the tape I had been holding «would work temporarily». So I asked where I could find a more permanent solution.
After being rudely interrupted by another customer, the employee proceeded to respond to a call from another employee (regarding a cart of go backs) before literally turning his back on me and ignoring me completely, for the duration of my stay in his area. Awesome.
So not only did I have to find the item I was looking for myself (aisle 6 on the left, closer to the front of the store), I also had to ring it up myself because the self checkouts were the only short lines.
Come here if you already know what you’re looking for and know where to find it in this store. Look it up online and have a SKU ready, otherwise you’ll just end up ignored or misled and frustrated.

Wish I could give this store zero stars. Wanted to ask a simple question. Went up front twice to get help. After thirty minutes decided to leave. The girl at the door tells me that they were waiting for me. Don’t like your job let someone who wants it have it

This is one of the smaller Home Depots I’ve been to. But this place has really good customer service. From the paint department to the flooring, there’s been always someone who asks if you need help or offer to give help. And they’re friendly! Even the greeter at the entrance, was a jolly guy.
Has anyone been to the one down Alondra & Studebaker in Cerritos? The people working there SUCK! worse costumer service all day everyday. Never going to that location if I can help it.

I always feel overwhelmed when I have to find specific things to buy from here because I don’t know where anything is.
But the times I’ve been here someone always asks me if I need help and directly shows me where I need to be which makes my experience less overwhelming lol.
Only downside is that parking is hard to find!

I’ll start off with the return I had to do. We bought 2 bulbs to replace for our outdoor lights, both of them did not work so we came in to exchange them. Jo «greeted» us at the register with an attitude like no other for some reason (maybe she didn’t get any last night, who knows) After her comment of, «Well maybe all of our bulbs don’t work.» we left and went on to doing what we came to do. When we walked back up to the register she was helping another lady that had just spent around $ 2k. The amount of ass kissing she was doing was out of this world. Biggest brown nose in the world stands at the 1^st return register, let me tell ya! Unless you’re putting out money, she’ll look at you like the gum on the bottom of her shoe. It doesn’t matter how much a customer is paying, without them, you have no job…
Larry was so much help, I came in with a question for the garden area on a plant I see while I take my morning walk and he wasn’t entirely sure what it was so he took us over to the computer and did a search. Very helpful, thank you. He went above and beyond and did not have to.

Home Depot gives homeowners the chance to do things themselves… With that being said, I never had a bad experience here. Service is excellent and I always have answers to any of my questions.
Since Lowe’s closed by me, this is the closest DIY home improvement store. For the future, I hope to complete some of my own renovations and I’m sure to buy products here.
I also love their garden area. It’s very neat, organized, and so much variety. Spring season is definitely the best! They do sell dragonfruit and jujubes here too.
Watch out for their weekly specials because you can score some awesome deals!

Standard Home depot. This store is huge and spacious.
Each department is very well organized, well stuffed with items, love their Garden center, lots of staff available for help if you need any help.
Time to get hands On!
They have some cool workshops for all age groups:

2. Free kids workshop: 1^st Saturday of every month

I was just in there today.
I needed some aerosol paint for a project we had a deadline for and even though money is tight, I feel very satisfied that this Home Depot had all the paint I needed.
Two of the Home Depot guys helped me out and they were both polite and knowledgeable about the paint I wanted.
I definitely will go back again.

I am officially love the Home Depot! I don’t come here often because I always thought this isn’t the place for me. Little did I realize how awesome this place is! Their paint is so cheap and they have so much variety. It was only a little over $ 20 for a giant can of paint which was more than enough to paint my entire room! Also, the workers there are friendly and helpful as well.
They also had a 50% off section on their Christmas decorations. I kind of went crazy in that section because they actually have good selections. Overall, I think I’ll be coming back here for my paint needs. They even carry some acrylic paint for arts and crafts and it’s pretty cheap :)

I love home Depot in general, but had a horrible experience at this location. In fairness, it was an error by one employee, but the attitude problem then ran throughout the management. Instead of trying to make the customer fell better, the manager opted to back his employee instaed, and treat me like an idiot. Rightfully so, since I was an idiot to believe in this place.
Here’s what happened: We called on a Fri afternoon and ASKED if we could reserve a truck for 2pm the following day. We had to pick up a large appliance in Stanton, and wanted to cover the bases ahead of time. Supposed to pick it up at 2:15. I don’t live near here. Was told it was reserved for 2pm. Was NOT told it would be a first come, first serve situation. Was NOT told «please hold this with your credit card.» Was simply quoted a price, and agreed upon a time.
Showed up on time. Unfriendly employee#1 said «The truck just left 10 minutes ago». I asked «what time is my name written down for?» He looks at the computer and said «2 O’clock» Me: «And what time did the truck leave?» Unfriendly employee#1: «Oh. Well, it’s first come first serve». I wont bore you with all the details — just know that the truck was out for 3 hours, not the 1 hour I was told, and I ended up wasting a hole day. Eventually I went and got a truck in Garden Grove.
The manger was uncaring, with more interest in «Who told you that? we don’t do it that way» Than «I’m so sorry for the misunderstanding.»
I chalk it up to poor management, poor employee skills, and a pooooor experience.
Last time ever to step foot into Home Depot in Stanton.

A few years back, Home Depot was contemplating making the layout more «softer and warmer» (hiding pallets & dimmer lighting, etc) so the womenfolk would not be intimidated to go in. I’m glad they didn’t pansy it up, but instead kept up the great customer service & selection.
Ed in carpet was great! He took the time to explain all the costs & possible extra costs that the installation guys might want to tack on. As I was 7 months prego, he also informed me of allergen padding as a option & its pros & cons. His follow up with both the quote guys & myself was over & beyond what I expected. I’ve always been a fan of HD, but this location has the most personable employees. DIY has never looked more promising; or at least they can direct me if there’s a mess up. Hehe
