Ramona Motel

I just needed a clean and quiet place to spend the night in town and this place fit the bill. Fast WIFI is a huge plus for a hotel, nice cable selection. Overall it was a good deal for a Friday night.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Went there late on a Wednesday night. Just wanted a clean room that was cool. I am by no means a prude and I can stay at a Motel 6 as long as its clean and the temperature isn’t out of control
So I get into my room and it is at least 95 to 100 degrees. The day was already hot and now I had to wait for small wall unit A/​C to kick in and cool the room. Waited 1 hour… NOTHING. Not only did the room smell like something may have died in it, the A/​C was less effective than a lung cancer patient blowing through a straw. I couldn’t take the heat any longer, so I grabbed my things and went to the counter and asked for a refund or a room where the A/​C works. «No room for me and NO REFUND». The guy cared less about my comfort since he charged me already. He just showed me a piece of paper that I signed that said no refund and he walked away from the counter. Not only could he care less about his tenants, he was really rude. I left the premise and went to another motel and the owner still charged me. Horrible business practice!
I hate writing bad reviews on people or businesses since I am a business owner and love complimenting people when the do a GOOD job. But I feel compelled to let others know that this place is horrible and you can get a nicer room that has much better A/​C and accommodations elsewhere.
