I took my 98 sporty 1200 to Grumpy’s for the first time after using OC Harley for years, I can’t say enough about this place !!! Its what I like about Bikers the most, Old school, friendly and experts at what they do. I took my bike (i have 4)
to OC and not only did they not do what I paid for but tried to have to commit to a $ 500 tear-​down to figure out a low end noise they heard. Grumpy not only fixed the original issue the OC did not but the noise was just a timing chain that was loose. ! Grumpy got the bike running like a boss and at a fair price.

My brother and I have never been wronged by Grumpy’s. They are trustworthy and affordable which is something that’s hard to come by these days. Keep it up guys!

I’ve known «Grumpy» and his family for over 40 years. He’s always been a hardcore greasemonkey. It’s how he grew up. He’s been working on cars, trucks, sand rails, motercycles, etc. since we were young kids. Anything that goes fast, he’ll make it go faster. His work ethics are just as solid as his craft. I highly recommend «Grumpy’s Hog Shop».

Went in a second time for another small fix and was treated well. This is great shop.

Scott mostly worked on my SPORTY, but I think he had some help .
He replaced the starter with an «ALL BALLS «unit I bought for
$ 120 online. They retail for over 300 bucks … Scott was very up front with the Cost
(200 dollars) and gave me an approximate pick up time .
Not the prettiest Shop, but I did see a FXR frame that they were working on
that looked very COOL ! The only thing I wish they would have done was wipe
the OIL off the primary before I picked it up !

I was referred to Grumpys Hog Shop by a friend of mine who had his brake parts installed there. He said they do good work.
I had them put in a clutch. They said they had one in stock for my bike. I had them install a clutch on my bike. Right out of the gate the clutch chirped on take off. After 1500 miles it started shifting like my 25 000 mile clutch. At 2500 miles it needed a new clutch. The shop that put the correct clutch in my bike showed me the clutch set installed by Grumpy’s — A DIRT-​BIKE clutch.
Crying about the economy, putting the wrong clutch for my bike in my bike because you have it on hand and want to make an extra buck– bad business. These guys are weasels.
One-​Leg-​mechanic, you should have given me a heads up. I would have went and purchased the right clutch.
It looks like Grumpy’s is a place to go to have parts you bring them installed. Yeah I saved a hundred or two in the short term.

I have a 1991 Soft Tail Fat Boy. I have owned the bike since 2008. The electrical has never worked right. When I first bought the bike, I tried to take it to Laidlaw’s in Baldwin Park. They told me they do not work on bikes as old as mine. In the past five years, I took it to two different shops. Neither was able to fix the electrical. I bought a new battery a few months ago. I rode the bike to work a few weeks ago. It wouldn’t start when it was time to go home. Grumpy’s picked up the bike at my job. They fixed everything I asked them to fix, and for a fair price. I recommend them without reservation. They were friendly and made me feel comfortable. My turn signals are working perfectly for the first time ever. My bike is running better than it ever has. Thank You sincerely Tony, and thank you to your staff.

I have been going to Grumpy for all my repairs for well over 10 years and would never think of going any other place. Work is done in a timely manor and he takes it easy on the pocket. He is the best so why go to the rest.

If your tired spending alot $$$$ on your bike and doesn’t get fixed correctly u need to check out Grumpys Hog Shop good people friendly might look little rough around edge when u first arrive but overall everyone at shop always willing help customers solve their HD PROBLEMS get idea figure out what’s going on with you Harley. Another thing about this shop is that they know all the old school Harley’s from Pan heads to knuckle heads shovel heads flat heads u name it Tony aka Grumpy the owner knows his HD. This shop will come pick up your bike in case emergency they have helped me many times especially if your going on a ride for weekend need to get oil change tires tune up they will handle according to availability and even then they still throw u in and get your shit handled very friendly staff if u get lucky on the day they bbq usually weekends u might even get a plate of some bomb ass BBQ cooked by there BBQ staff JOJOE & ROUNDS its just that kind of place friendly cool shop that will get your bike fixed at a reasonable priced shop compared to others $$$$$$!!

Oh ya they got used parts awesome deals depending what they got from seats to emblems to motor trans u just don’t know what Grumpys might have u need or want !!! PS. Scotty main mechanic is very smart and can do just about anything from hard core wireing to fabricating what ever u need done and if not they got all thee hook ups come check themm out and don’t be like alot people are judge book by its cover !!!

They do very good work on bikes. Very professional. Contrary to the name of the shop, I found them to be friendly and helpful.
