History

Established in 2003.

EDO Performance located in Southern California, has been specializing in automobile performance efficiency control instrumentation since 2003. EDO Performance has a showroom as well as a fully stocked warehouse in Garden Grove. In order to provide our customers with the most efficient on time delivery service, EDO has fully stocked warehouses on the West Coast, East Coast, as well as the United Kingdom and provides next day standard delivery service options to most cities. EDO Performance is a direct distributor for many renowned Japanese automotive performance manufacturers such as Defi, ZERO/​SPORTS, Tomei, Jun, and many more. Not only do we stock JDM products but all leading automotive brands around the world, including but not limited to: BMC Air Filters, Motul, LiquiMoly, and Evans. With such a vast inventory we are able to offer wholesale discounts to distributors. We strives to provide our valued customers with the best customer service in the industry.

Edwin asked me to leave a good review. In honesty, I leave reviews based on the experience I had; not a deal I got or etc. I stayed at the shop to watch a compression/​leakdown test done on my 2006 WRX. Edwin was nice and friendly. Service was okay. Nothing crazy to take home. I have a misfire in my engine and they didn’t know really where to start in my opinion. I would leave big jobs to the professional’s at Forman Performance. Only reason I went here is because I had no other choice as Forman was so extremely booked.
Don’t expect the best service, but decent. If you like your car, go to a better shop.

Got my clutch done by edo performance they did a great job feels great and it was at a great price They also installed a blast plate without any charge.
There was a small issue wasnt anyone’s fault but they didnt charge me extra and explained everything to me. Great customer service. Thanks guys!

I love the new engine that Edo performance build for me. The best shop and will take care of your car. They don’t mickey mouse the job. They make sure everything is working right before they let you drive your car of the lot. Best tuner no need to wait months. Just give them a call and they will do the job. Thanks for the great job for my 2013 DopeSTI. Can’t wait to bring my E55 AMG next.

I’ve know these guys for a few years now and just recently taking my car in for service. Love coming here. It’s like a «Subie Heaven» whenever i go here. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice clean establishment like this with the lowest price in the area. I had my H&R Super Sport springs installed on my BMW 435i and it came out great. Scheduling an appointment was available next day. They even gave me a ride to my office so I only needed one Über ride back for pickup. It would have been nice to get an alignment done at the same time but they didn’t have the necessary equipment yet. Although that is on the road map for future services.

I just recently took in my wrx in for a clutch upgrade since my old one was starting to slip. I spoke to Gwen and he was really helpful in discussing what type of clutch would be suitable for my car & he recommend me a stage 1 exedy clutch. Needless to say I was impress with the EDO team, they were very helpful and they took care of me and my wrx.
I recommend this shop for any of your tuning needs or engine builds and even oil changes. They really take care of their customers and they are professionals and experts in what they do. I am really satisfied with the outcome of my car !

Went for timing belt and brake service for my truck. The shop has very nice and clean show room with comfortable waiting area. Staffs were courteous and kept us updated with progress. Overall was very satisfied and will definitely come back for other maintenance work.

If you have a Hi performance Porsche, Evo, WRX, FRS ect. EDO Performance is the best place to take it for things like upgrades, tuning and even regular maintenance. It’s by far better then the dealership in my experience because EDO’s tech’s are experts and have a passion for they’re work and the cars we drive.
EDO was able to replace the transmission in my 2010 EVO for half of what the dealer wanted to charge! And this saved me over 6,000 dollars! My car runs great now and I’m extremely happy, because I know EDO stands behind they’re work 100%.
The staff their is professional and very courteous, we’re not talking a couple of young kids in an industrial complex. These guys are pro’s with a pro caliber shop and extensive knowledge of your car. If you don’t believe my just talk to Gwen at EDO. He is a walking encyclopedia of car knowledge, these guys are the real deal! They build cars that you’ve probably read about in the import magazines.
I would recommend EDO performance to anyone with a hi performance import car, from tuning to maintenance. You can’t go wrong here guys! it’s a no brainer.

I just purchased a truck from Edwin, who is the owner of this fine business. It is rare that I find a man with high integrity, honest as a man can possibly be, warm, friendly and professional. He addressed all of my concerns by showing me the care and effort he put into the truck that I purchased. Edwin not only went the extra mile for me, but he spent the time necessary to make sure that I was happy with his service.
Folks, be sure to go to EDO for all of your automobile needs. This is an honest and very caring man and his staff reflects his high standards. I’d like to also mention Samantha who helped me through the entire process. Even though I called alot, and I mean ALOT, she never lost her cool with me.

I originally came here for a cylinder 1 misfire which there expert staff was able to diagnose and repair in a matter of hours. It was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had from a shop.
I later came back when I cracked my block on my 08 Subaru sti. They were able to pull my engine and see the extent of the damage in a much more rapid time than any other shop and they built my engine to exactly how I wanted it. My car is way smoother now than it ever was before.
Gwen and Edwin are some of the friendliest guys I have met from a shop and they give you the best customer service possible.
