Used to be a student here. first time stepping into the gym professor De La O was not so welcoming. After numerous times interacting with him I learned to stay away from the guy. I stayed for the bravado muay thai. Great coach and classes.

If you are new to mma and want a great experience come here… They are not snotty, stuck up, or weird mma meat heads. Everyone here is super nice, down home and welcoming. It’s nothing fancy, but beats places like ‘no limits’ any day. They have a AWESOME kids program for boys and girls; really apart of the community type of place. I did mui thai with John and was very impressed. He is an OC respected dude in the industry, but he is low key modest, yet is a talented professional and teacher. The group classes looked good, but I’m not the type of girl to be rolling around on the floor with guys, not acceptable for me, lol. Privates are reasonable and INTENSE! Calorie burning and intense mental shift doing this type of stuff, learning mui thai was one of the more challenging and interesting endeavors I have tried in my adult life, good stuff…

Yup everything Carla M said and more. I did Muay Thai a few times with Christian and my bf goes here weekly for both Jujitsu with John and Muay Thai. If you want to loose weight and cardio. this place is it. It’s both adrenaline rushing and fun. Sure, you’ll be bruise and tired in the beginning but that’s all part of working out. If you haven’t try, remember to tell the trainer ahead of time so they can go a little easier on you, especially for Girls. After trying this place, I was even motivated to buy my own gear and punching bag. Yes, First lession FREE. They also sell Tickets for Fight Nite in LBC for those who are interested.

If you want a new kind of workout that will get you sore even after 2days from working out, this is the place to be! My good friend helps run the Kickboxing training center-De La O training center presents Bravado Muay Thai team. Took first lessons on tuesday 05⁄12 from 7−9pm. Brought my bf and cousin along with me. Oh man, didn’t know what I was getting myself into. We first got geared up with our wrist wraps, then did the warm up which included jumping rope, push ups, ab crunches, squats, and some kind of leg lifts, then back on that jump rope again, which felt like more of the cardio workout then just a warm up. Then learned how to throw punches and kicks. Got to also use boxing gloves. Good place to blow some steam! I sweated accessively, which was good, cuz I need to lose some weight before summer hits. I actually sweated so much more here then at the gym. It was good b/c you had your muscles getting mixed up from the workouts instead of getting use to one move. First lessons are FREE! Come out and try, won’t kill you, just make you sore and look good in the end!!!
