Jake applied to Stanford four years ago to become a teacher and is now a TA on his way to becoming a professor. He has always been amazed at the impact his teachers had in his life, and every day is grateful for the opportunities which his teachers afforded him. As a teacher himself, it brought him great joy and excitement each time time students would exclaim «OH!» as they suddenly realized how to do a problem. Watching students increase their confidence and self-esteem in the classroom, and helping them to reach their highest level is as meaningful to Jake as it is to the students, and it constantly inspires him to do better as well.
