Cute place. Good selection of treats. They sell candy by the piece. Good variety. I have to say though, that the customer service was horrible.

After driving past this place over and over again, I finally decided to stop and check it out. I am so glad I did. And I’m sorry that I hadn’t stopped in sooner. I had no idea what I had been missing. The fudge was delicious and it actually took the top award at the Chocolate Lover’s Fling for Best Fudge 2014– and rightfully so! I got the penuche, the vanilla and the maple. Don’t leave without visiting the«gift shop» –it is amazing. I loved the Halloween tree and there are separate rooms for different products. The Yankee Candles are in one room, the flowers in another, and the Holiday trees in yet another. I spoke with the owner(who currently works in the store with her son) and she was a spitfire for sure. She does everything here, right down to the snowblowing in the winter. I love Maine for so many reasons, but talking to the person who not only owns, but runs their own establishment is so interesting and feels so personal. She makes gift baskets and often runs specials on her Facebook page for free milkshakes, etc., so be sure to follow that and Support Local. Be patient, though– She and her son are the only ones currently working the shop and the candy building. If you can, take some time to talk to her– she’s a hoot! Next time I need to shop for someone, it will be there. It’s on the way to North Conway, Portland, Windham, Standish, Gorham, Fryeburg and many more places I have to go, so that darn fudge is definitely going to hit my waistline over time.
