We order from here all the time it’s so good! I love the chicken pad thai, the cauliflower appetizer, and the calamari. Those are my favorites. Definitely my go to place for Thai food in the area. Delivery does take an hour though …

Food was not that great. Ordered the Red Curry and it just didn’t have much flavor. We also ordered spring rolls for an appetizer that didn’t come at all until we mentioned it. They were horrible and tastes like bad oil. The waitress stared at us like we were crazy when we asked questions about the menu and food, all around place to avoid. First and last time I will be there.

Tiny. Spicy. Great service. Great for kids. We went twice with our 2-year-old and I was pretty impressed at the way the staff Tetrissed the teeny-tiny dining room together to fit us all. The Pad See Ew(which was not indicated as spicy on the menu) was KICKINGMEINTHEFACE with chili peppers, but I liked it. The massaman was good. Pad Thai was acceptable but was served with very few fresh greens like sprouts or scallions(this is not unusual, but I like to see more personally). The nasi goreng was great. Egg was perfect. Lots of flavor. The best sign was the constant stream of people coming in to pick up takeout. This place is clearly a favorite with locals and I can see why. Really nice staff as well.

I have been here twice in a row now. The first time, I had been seriously craving Thai food and in particular – pad thai. Mind you, I went to college in a neighborhood that has three Thai restaurants in a 3 mile radius(yes, it was amazing). I was really happy with the portion of the pad thai, but found it to be pretty dry. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to stop by again and this time decided I would try my hand at the PADGA-PROW(BASIL) Sautéed chilies, garlic, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, basil, and tofu. Let me tell you, THISWASWONDERFUL! I can’t compare it to other PADGA-PROW as I’ve never had this dish anywhere else, but boy, it was really good! I could have used a bit cooking on the mushroom & perhaps more tofu(I felt like the bell peppers were fillers were there should’ve been more tofu.) It’s worth noting that we did the take out, for lunch and to which my total came out to $ 8.50. They did the food incredibly fast and were quite pleasant about it. TL;DR: if you are craving thai food, this place will do. It’s a fast & affordable lunch option, and the quality of food is decent but nothing to rave about.

My favorite place for Pad Thai in Stamford, hands down. Delivery is always on time or early. It is my go to dinner take out.

Little Buddha is one of my favorite restaurants in Stamford. I was hesitant to try Thai food and since trying about a year ago, I have ordered here many times. I’m a vegetarian so I stick to the vegetable/tofu dishes and this place has many options. My go-to lately has been the eggplant dish that comes with other veggies and brown rice. I typically order take-out/delivery from here and they also arrive in a timely manner and have the food ready on time. However, I have eaten inside the restaurant before. It’s very small so there is often a wait and sometimes you have to sit down this little hallway next to the kitchen. BUT it it BYOB which is pretty awesome considering there aren’t other places in Stamford that offer this. The BYOB is also a nice money saver if you’re looking for that. Highly recommend.

DONOTORDERFROMHERE! The rudest delivery person I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. Made me drive a half mile down the road to him and scoffed when I rolled down the window. Then, food was well below average; amateur at best. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Very americanized Thai, which can also be good, but I’ve ordered from here 5 – 6 times and the only dishes I’d recommend are the currys and drunken noodles. I’ve tried pad thai, pineapple fried rice, roti, etc. and they’re all not quite as varied in flavor or ingredients as I’d like.

This is my happy place. Just thinking about little Buddha gets me excited. When my favorite Thai place in Stamford closed down this became my go to spot and I can say with confidence that I prefer Little Buddha to my former favorite Thai restaurant. I usually do delivery and order their rice, curry, and noodle dishes. I’ve had their pad thai, drunken noodles, railroad with tofu and vegetables, kee mao and fried rice with tofu and vegetables and red curry(gang dang) with vegetables and tofu as well. The gang dang has become one of my favorites and I always get it «hot». If you’re not a fan of spicy food or can’t tolerate it, don’t ask for it «hot» or «spicy». Their standard is bearable for people who aren’t fans of spicy food. Their appetizers are plentiful and are all delicious. I typically get the spring rolls, potato curry puffs, and vegetable dumplings. If you’re a vegetarian/vegan you won’t have any difficulty finding something eat. I most recently tried their Thai iced coffee and really enjoyed that as well. Their sweet roti is different from what I’ve usually experienced but it’s still very light and delicious. It’s made with condensed milk and a chocolate sauce– which I’ve never had before but it’s still delectable. The interior is quite small, but for me that only adds to the charm of this spot and it’s not a concern of mine as I almost always do delivery here. I always look forward to ordering here– I even made it my birthday dinner treat two years in a row!

Little buddha is definitely not at the top of my list of thai places to go to. I only suggest take-out if you choose to get food from here. The food was pretty good, but the experience was soured by the customer service experience here(rather lack thereof). The waitress was impatient and not welcoming — more of a «what do you want to eat» attitude. We ordered the manchurian cauliflower, thai iced tea, thai iced coffee, chicken pad thai and drunken noodles(with chicken, spicy) for a total of $ 40.25. We were not provided with utensils/chop sticks or napkins, all of which I obtained on my own and ignored throughout our meal. Even as we are ready to pay for this experience, I have plenty of time to mellow in my thoughts and crank out this review. The food was good, but I would never come here again. I thought that the waitress was rude just to us, but after seeing an interaction with other patrons, this sort of behavior was consistent(denial of sitting at a table the couple would be more comfortable).

My husband and I love this place. We just moved to stamford and literally live a block away so we’ve only ever ordered in and haven’t actually been inside– BUT! The food is super good and hits the spot. We usually order a few appetizers to share and I only ever get drunken noodles. The only thing I’ll say is that the drunken noodles are SO spicy! Like… mild is more like hot and hot is more like«call your family and say your goodbyes now» I can’t handle anymore spices so I end up getting no spice which is kinda a bummer because it makes it sort of bland. I like a BIT of spice. Otherwise. I’ll continue ordering from here as long as I live in Stamford/eat Thai food.

Great beef panang and beef noodle soup. It’s bit small inside so be prepared for an intimate meal with people who you don’t know. If you’re a people person, you will be all set. Friendly wait staff and decent portions in the meals.

Really small place. They can probably only seat around 12 people, so keep that in mind. I imagine that most of their business comes from delivery. Lots of ample parking is available across the street and the staff is very nice and attentive. I had the chili mango chicken– a chef specialty– and I got it spicy. Hmm, think sweet and sour chicken, a bad decision on my part, but I appreciated the effort. Just didn’t work for me. My boyfriend had the beef drunken noodles. That was good I enjoyed«sharing» his meal. The prices are really reasonable though there seems to be a bit of über surge pricing if you order anything with duck. I don’t know much about duck so perhaps that’s a common practice. Another thing to keep in mind is that they don’t serve a liquor license if you are one of these people that enjoy having a nice cocktail with your meal. Totally not a big deal, but worth noting. I would definitely order takeout from here again, but may not visit in person.

I ordered lunch delivery to my office in Stamford. Delivery was fast and the food was still hot — which is always a plus! I’m not usually a thai food fan, but this place has converted me. The Tom Yum noodle soup was delicious, and full of flavor! The pan fried dumplings are a must have as well. The star of my order was the spicy beef salad(Nua Nam Tok), it was spicy, full of fresh cilantro and red onion. I will definitely order from here again!

This place is great A little cramped for sit down. So what? It is the best Asian takeout place in the area! The green curry, the railroad fried rice are amazing. Appetizers– dumplings, okra This place currently ranked #13!!! How is that possible. GO!

Probably the last time I order from here. The portions are lacking and the price is crazy for two dishes with the limited amount of food you get. The soup may be still the best option but the noodle dishes are just not up to par in quality or size.

I really enjoy the food here — the appetizers(veggie spring rolls and Tom Yummy Soup), entrée — chicken pad thai or drunken noodles with chicken(spicy enough) — are all very good. Not too spicy and not too wimpy — I’m not one for spice :-). Good spot to grab take-out. Only draw back I’ve experienced sometimes they are busy and they don’t pick up the phone quick enough for me!

I always grab a quick bite here whenever I’m too lazy to drive to Greenwich for Thai food. It’s the only Thai restaurant that I tend to go to in Stamford. Space is pretty tight here. Layout isn’t the best. Parking can be a little annoying. Dinning during winter season is brutal since they don’t have a double door. It gets pretty cold whenever someone walks in and out. Food is decent. I recently had a bowl of Thai beef noodle soup. It was okay for a cold day. Beef broth tasted like a beef paste from a jar that I usually make for myself at home. They also use dried rice noodle here. not the soft and fresh kind that I prefer. So overall it was just okay. Another dish that we ordered was Beef Basil. It was so so. I had better elsewhere. I will probably keep coming back here since I live nearby and the foods aren’t terribly bad.
