Dr. Tsong is a board certified ophthalmologist who is fellowship trained in medical retina. He graduated MIT in the top 5% of his class with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He then graduated Harvard Medical School with an M.D. degree. Jerry completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and residency at The George Washington University Medical Center, where he was named Chief Resident. He also completed a fellowship in medical retina at the world-​renowned Doheny Eye Institute.

Jerry sees patients for both routine eye examinations (e.g. glasses and contact lenses) and retinal consultation.

Jerry specializes in the treatment of complex retinal disorders such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and vitreous floaters. Jerry has published original research in leading medical journals such as Retina and Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science. He has written a book chapter on wet AMD.
