History

Established in 1932.

Leo’s Insurance Agency started out on Spring Street in downtown Stamford in 1932 and was taken over by Daniel Brennan and Nicholas Vlahakis in 1992 and the name was changed to Brenann & Vlahakis Insurance. Both Dan and Nich are Stamford natives and their families have deep roots in the area.

Dan went to school at Stamford Catholic High School (now Trinity Catholic) and then on to the University of Rhode Island and studied business. Dan has been a licensed agent since 1989 and took over as a partner at Brennan & Vlahakis in 1992.

Dan is married with three children and is very active in the Stamford community.
