All of US Air

This is my first post. I was compelled to write one because I saw that a review with 5 stars was shown but one with a lesser opinion was filtered for All of Us AIr! I whole heartedly agree with the lesser review that Steve, the owner, is short tempered and hard to deal. This description really is an understatement.
I won’t go into long winded detail about what happened. It wasn’t that complicated. He was called to service the AC. However, he claimed to have changed the filter in the furnace so our «heating should be good» (I’m not a mechanical expert but I don’t believe my oil furnace has a filter. Does yours? And do you have the AC guy service it?) He never went into the attic to see the blowers. A week later, both the tenant who lives in my house and I called the company to get a follow up on what work was done. Steve yelled. He was belligerent. He said that the tenants were obnoxious to him and that he was never going back to the house again. He also said the tenants didn’t even let him in the house. Then how did he service the furnace? Bizarre. He also said he wasn’t going to charge me for anything. This is the least of my concerns because I was never going to pay him for work he didn’t do (service AC) and wasn’t suppose to do (service furnace). What sort of person does business like this?
As we have had two other AC services done with All of Us Air with no problem, I gave it 1 star. But I never went up to the attic and the AC is regularly serviced so we shouldn’t be having any problems. So now I wonder what Steve really did up in the attic. Like I said, I’m not a mechanical expert. But I depend on honest reviews of businesses that I want to keep on doing business with. I’ll be shopping around for another service.

I am consistently impressed with Steve and All of Us Air in Stamford.
He can usually setup an appointment within a day or two and likes to work early. He usually comes by prior to 9 a.m., so it doesn’t interfere with work.
He is extremely professional and courteous. After trying a couple of different companies who didn’t solve my a/​c issues, I went to All of Us Air and have used them three or four times since then.
With Steve you reach him directly, because it’s a small operation (just him and another guy), so you don’t have to go through an office receptionist or scheduler, though his wife Liz is very helpful and I think manages the office-​side of the business.
I highly recommend All of Us Air.
