Very fast and friendly service, and lots of options on the menu. The Stuffed Tomato with the Chicken Salad was light and fresh, and it was served with a really tasty pasta salad.

First time here and it was absolutely delicious! Best Ruben I’ve ever had with good prices and fast service for how busy they are. I would eat there every day if possible.

I’ve only dined a couple of times and I will say that the second was just as great if not better than the first time. I got the chicken salad sandwich with avocado on both occasions – they have plenty of delicious looking other options but hey, when something is good, I stick with it. The staff is very courteous and the woman who takes the orders is super friendly and personable. The place is very small – only about 4 or five tables but always packed. I got a feeling of being in an upscale restaurant each time I visited because of the level of professionalism and care with which the food is made and served. The desserts are homemade and you can definitely tell! I LOVE the chocolate chip cookies and brownies.

I’ve been eating here for 4 – 5 years. Not a bad meal yet and is always fresh and savory — if there’s been an exception to that I can’t remember. Plates, salads, sandwiches all top notch and FRESH. Hold on though… get here early for the best part before Jenny runs out of the soup. It’s in this category this place really shines. Inventive, wholesome and packed with flavor — if you can’t decide, get soup! Rating as four as no 4.5 available and holding out for my first five

Amazing little hole in the wall with great food. Even with five people in line in front of me, I was in and out with my garlic sesame pasta with charbroiled chicken in under 15 minutes. And it came with a little side salad.

If ur looking for sophisticated elegance this is not the place for you. If ur looking for good fresh food get down there. It’s a little hole in the wall but worth the visit. Very reasonable prices.

Everytime I get to eat here I feel like I just got out of the shower. The food not only makes me feel fresh it satisfies me like no other woman. This is only place I can have lunch and not feel like Shrek after.

One of the monday specials was the spinach chicken wrap. It comes with avocado, red onion, roasted red peppers, corn, lettuce, tomato. A pretty filling wrap, since it comes with basically two wraps for your money. Only $ 7, and I added on 2 of their brownies this time, since they’re so good.

This place is pretty unassuming but it’s packed at lunch time with all the beltway offices near by. They have a few vegetarian options and an excellent grilled zucchini wrap(it’s normally a sandwich, you’ll have to ask for it as wrap)!

I have tried almost everything on the menu here at this point and I have to say that I have not been disappointed by a single item so far. There are a couple real gems, like the Penne chicken pasta with pesto sauce, the Chicken Milanesa Sandwich is amazing(thin sliced chicken breast coated with bread crumbs or something like that and lightly fried in a delicious sandwich). Yesterday I had the shrimp Pozole which was amazing as well. It’s got just the right atmosphere of a small hole in the wall, perhaps family run, but still clean and professional and never disappointing. 5 Stars.

If you work in Stafford please come here for lunch! They have a variety of delicious options. Enrol’s Favorite Plate is my go-to. Minus one star because it is often slow and there is no seating.

Food: Pretty good! I got the Penne Pasta w Spicy Pesto & Grilled Chicken along w a bowl of cream of spaghetti squash soup. Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Wow! Never had I tried this sort of soup but I’m glad i did! The pasta was very good, not phenomenal but pretty good! Atmosphere: is calm and soothing-lunch hour is when I came. Wish they were open later and on weekends, but hey! I don’t like working weekends so I don’t blame ‘em! When they say FRESH&SAVORY they mean it! The moment I walked in I was welcomed by an agonizingly wonderful smell of all the different dishes and sauces that we’re being prepared. I couldn’t take it! I was hungry! So I made my choice and within 3mins they had my pasta and soup ready for me. Clean taste on both items. I hate when people overdue it with olive oil or sauces. But this was nice. Their iced tea even tasted fresh! Good place, beautiful staff –friendly and welcoming. Great service and good dishes! Cannot wait to explore what else this place has to offer! A bit pricy, but worth it bc you can always make two meals from it! #justsaying ha! If you’re in this area, give it a try! SMELLSSOGOODINHERE!!!

Okay, let me start by saying I begin every work day by looking at Fresh and Savory’s daily specials. Every single day. That is how hooked I am on this place. They have exotic, off-the-beaten path dishes, and everything they serve is SO fresh. Whenever I cannot decide on what delicious item to order, I always end up with the sesame garlic angel hair chicken place. I don’t know what they put in this pasta, I don’t care how unhealthy it is, I don’t care what it’s doing to my hips. This stuff is addictive. I seriously find myself thinking about it nearly every day. The only time I do NOT think about this dish is when they have tomato basil soup posted — yum! They are ALWAYS busy — you may want to place your order ahead of time. There is a sweet group of ladies that run this kitchen, and they are always slammed. If you go there once, you’re going to be as hooked as I am. There’s no shame in visiting a restaurant three times a week, right?

I saw an old review that said they only take AMEX but I paid with my Visa on their iPhone square today. Just in case that deters you from going to this awesome hole in the wall. I had the Erol’s Favorite Plate $ 8.50(Today’s Special price) — Penne Pasta with Feta Cheese, Fresh Parsley and a Grilled Chicken Breast topped with Pesto Sauce. It was very good. The grilled breast was scrumptious and the pesto sauce was very tasty and light not oily at all. I was so glad to see that they did not skimp out on the Feta, It covered the top of the pasta and I was able to have Feta(MYFAV) in every bite. The portion of grilled breast was slightly bigger than a deck of cards and they did provide a heaping pile of pasta. I ate half and still have plenty left for my dinner tonight and will be full. The place is small, i.e. a hole in the wall, but it was clean and well kept. The cooks looked well organized and it smelled great inside. I went around 11:35 — 11:40ish and it had only about 5 patrons but my Boss went the same day at 1:30 and it was packed with more people walking in when she walked out. She had the Penne Pasta with Spicy Pesto and Grilled Chicken $ 10.00 — Penne Pasta with Grilled Chicken simmered in a Spicy Basil Pesto Sauce. Garnished with Green Onions and Reggianito Cheese. The small bite I tried made me want more. It is my next meal when I visit again soon. Try it out!

I went to this place with a client. NEVER in a million years would I have ever gone here alone. It is a questionable part of town in a strip mall. It is definitely not a place for a first date. That being said, the food was AMAZING! It is owned by a woman who I met behind the counter. Apparently, she is there every day. She puts her heart and soul on a plate. And for under 10 dollars a plate, she is cheating herself. Had this restaurant been in a better part of town there would be 100X more reviews on Unilocal. In my opinion, for an unpretentious and VERY in-expensive lunch focused largely on Italian food, you can’t do better in Houston than Fresh and Savory.
