When I was building my house some years ago they came out to give me an estimate on a heating system. I gave them my blueprint s so they could do a heat loss calculation. They never got around to doing my estimate, when I called them back up Mark asked me who was doing my ac work, told him I’m not sure yet. He tells me if he doesn’t get the ac job he won’t do my heating job. I tell him I’ll choose who I want to do my work, I won’t be pressured into anything. I ask the receptionist to please mail my prints back, she says Mark told her no. I drive all the the way up to stafford to confront Mark and tell him what an a hole he is and get my prints but he’s to scared to come out of his office Receptionist has me my prints and I leave Seriously don’t do business with this arrogant ass

Finally I can attempt to write a review after all these months. This past winter our furnace stopped running, was about 58 degrees in the house when we noticed. The system was only 12 years old and installed by Fox when we built our home in 2003. Our regular HVAC contractor could not get the part to the system so we had to call Fox for the repair call, much to our dismay. The repairman came out,(he was very polite) and started evaluating the problem. Did I mention it was very cold this particular weekend? The repairman summons me down to the basement to inform me that his boss is pulling him off the job because«someone in your house gave us a bad review on Unilocal.» I asked if Mr. Fox was willing to give up the very high rate of OT we were paying for the call just to make his point. Of course, the repairman was caught in the middle. He packed up his tools and left. He, unlike his boss, was polite and professional. Too bad he was the one who had to give us the bad news. Mr. Fox couldn’t even tell me personally. Needless to say, I was shocked to think that Mr. Fox would be this vengeful. What if we had elderly individuals or infants in the home? It was disappointing. The good news… we went back to our regular HVAC contractor and he saved the day! Mr. Fox, you lost out.

TERRIBLECOMPANYANDAWFULCUSTOMERSERVICE! Avoid them at all costs! They came to clean and tune our furnace and were in and out within 20 minutes. They did not test the air flow or temperature(like they stated on the receipt). They completely sealed off the furnace vent pipe! We went downstairs to checkout the furnace right after they left and noticed that the vent was completely sealed shut. We called the office to make sure this was safe(because in the past, other companies told us to make sure it has good ventilation). The office staff was extremely rude and did not help to answer our question at all. They had the worker who worked on our furnace call back to justify why he sealed off the vent. We asked for a second opinion but the office staff refused to have another technician call us. The woman dismissed what we said and told us the owner would call us back that night. We waited a day and did not hear from the owner, so we called the office again. The woman claimed she never said the owner would call us and continued to refuse our request to have a different technician call us. We ended up having to pay a second company to come out to make sure the furnace was safe. Like we suspected, it was NOT safe at all! They immediately took the seal off the vent and told us our furnace was overheating due to the lack of ventilation.

Incompetent. Liars. They did the HVAC and plumbing on our new house. Out of over 20 sub-contractors, they are the only ones with which we has problems and they were nothing but trouble. As just a few examples: Drains are not properly vented and don’t drain as they should. They slopped black PVC pipe goop all over our basement floor, which will be there always. We have a semi-finished attic and they ran piping in the easiest and least expensive way for them — right across the middle of the floor! That we made them change and run it around the edge of the room. I visited the project unannounced one day and found one of our HVAC units(destined for the attic) in the living room with the vents kicked-damaged. Obviously, Mark’s cracker-jack crew as they were off-loading the unit from the truck tried to kick it across the(plywood only then) living room floor. I told Mark not to install it and provide a new one, but when I came back later that day, the unit was installed and covered up with insulation. I know he used the same one, damaged by his workers. Imagine your car radiator with the fine fins mashed in by some jack-booted ape. They installed the hot water heater right on the concrete and it has rusted out prematurely as a consequence. Admittedly, my specs did not include putting anything beneath it, but even the well company cared enough to put the holding tank up on blocks without being asked to do so and that tank is still like new. Tonight I was investigating why one of the upper bedrooms was getting poor A/C air flow and found that the elbow to the leg off the main run was not screwed, riveted or attached in any way. It had been just laid on top. It was hidden beneath the wrap insulation(no doubt, same way as the damaged air handler). They are a-holes and liars. Do not use or trust them… ever.
