Awesome flavors! Had the dark chocolate pecan and walnut. Was a perfect day for an ice cream.

The Key lime ice cream is a flavor sensation. This is real hand crafted ice cream made in small batches using the finest ingredients. Other stores may advertise their ice cream as so, but they just don’t deliver the indulgent flavors and creaminess that Moo Cow does.

Fabulous ice cream, homemade and creative! There is seating outside and in the garage where the kids watched them make the ice cream. It’s just off the strip so the lines are much smaller and it is next to Hot Dog Alley, how incredibly kid friendly and convenient is that! Generous serving! Love, love, love it!

Someone let me know that there is ample seating on the benches and tables near the garage. I must’ve missed that! So, I’m just letting everyone know there are seating options available. Hopefully I can get back soon and have another updated review! Thanks!

It’s very simple. I devoured(with bliss) easily the best Key Lime Pie ice cream I’ve ever had at Moo Cow Cream. It was perfect in every way. I was on vacation in St. Simons and this place hit the spot. I can’t speak for any of the other flavors obviously, but what I consumed was a highlight of my trip — who says that about ice cream?

We had their delicious ice cream twice while on vacation and had the pleasure of interacting with the delightful owner! When we said the ice cream was great, she responded with«YOU’RE great!» Caring for your customers still goes a long way!!! It help too that their homemade ice cream was heavenly!

This is really great ice cream! I almost gave up on getting decent ice cream on st. Simons, and then Moo Cow opened, and I can honestly say it is worth the calories.

Good ice cream and even a couple of great flavors. The reason I give it 2 stars is due to a very strange policy they have. They have 2 sizes; small and large. The small is two generous scoops, but unlike every ice cream shop you have ever been to, you can’t mix flavors. If you want two flavors, you have to buy a large. There are 4 – 5 places within a couple of blocks that sell ice cream and at least two of them are as good as Moo Cow, but don’t have this draconian restriction. Location, loud music and limited to no seating also brings the score down. Go to Zuzus or Sweet Shop instead.

We have yet to have a bad experience here. Every flavor of ice cream my kids pick has been their new favorite. The mint chocolate chip is my sons favorite and my daughter loves the salted caramel. I love the coconut and my wife had the spumoni the other night. Check this place out.

I had their cookie ice cream and it was pretty good. I have had more wonderful ice cream but this is local so I decided to try it. The guy at the country was nice and they had 6 – 8 homemade ice creams. I liked the adventurousness of the flavors, they had sweet potato and avocado and candied bacon. May go back to try one of these.

While slightly pricey for ice cream, Moo Cow has not only an awesome selection of eclectic flavors(candied bacon included), but a good selection of staple ice cream that’s just flat out better than anywhere else. They make their ice-cream by hand at Moo Cow, and you really can taste the difference.

The scoops here are generous. I ate the Choco-Choco which as you may imagine is very chocolate. Try it.

Really good ice cream! The candied bacon ice cream is much better than it sounds. The group I was with enjoyed several different flavors. Everyone all agreed that it was good ice cream. The only negatives: no seating to sit down and eat and the location is off the main strip. Thus, the four star rating.

Fun little ice cream place in the village. Has plenty of wild and different flavors. Wonderful on a hot summer day. Would recommend to anyone.

We go to St, Simons almost every summer and we just recently discovered this cute little ice cream shop. They have all kinds of crazy flavors and they are crazy good. I tried the chocolate covered potato chip and it was sweet, salty, and creamy, My son has boring cookies and cream but it was very good as well. The shop is small and gets pretty crowded in the summer but it is worth the wait and there are tables outside where you can enjoy your ice cream.

Moo Cow offers hand-made ice cream in specialty flavors, and it’s worth the slightly higher price. Moo Cow is an upstart ice cream shop a few steps away from the busier parts of St. Simons Island. Offering the standard flavors as well as flavors such as BACON, the staff is friendly and willing to give you tastes of their flavors. They sometimes sell handmade doggie ice cream as well, which is a treat to those with four-legged friends.

After reading all the 5 star reviews about this place, I just had to give it a try. I’m not sure why Moo Cow has 5 star reviews across the board, I didn’t really see anything special about this place. Basically just tubs of ice cream(not homemade) sitting in glass refrigerated cases waiting to be scooped out. The ice cream here was good, but more like a Baskin Robins type of good, not a unique or special good. The staff here was friendly and were happy to help us try the different flavors of ice cream before settling on a coffee ice cream for me and a chocolate ice cream for my girl. The ice cream was good for such a hot day, but not something that I would crave. Plus they were a little pricey too, over $ 8 for 2 single scoop ice cream cones. I hate that I am hurting their 5 star rating, but I just don’t think it is worthy of more than 3 stars.

This is by far the BEST ice cream on St. Simons, and I’d have to say I haven’t tasted any better in Atlanta either. HOMEMADE, All natural, no food coloring, just plain melt in your mouth goodness! The Chocolate Pinot Noir ice cream is like eating a truffle, the strawberry ice cream is so fresh,(and NOT barbie pink either) it is creamy with strawberry halves mixed in. They are located on Ocean Blvd across the street(kitty corner) from Mullet Bay, within walking distance from the pier. AMPLE on-site parking.(unlike trying to negotiate parking at the pier.) NOT a chain, locally owned. You must try this place, you will be hooked!

Moo Cow Cream recently opened in the St Simons Island Village. It is located on Ocean Boulevard across the street from our Hodnett Cooper Real Estate office. All of their ice cream is home made and it is excellent. Moo Cow has a very wide variety of ice creams. I had the Lemon Grass and it was very good.
