Did not taste authentic. Staff was good though, my daughter spilled her drink and they moved us quickly another table, and cleaned it up and were very friendly about it so the service is a 4 but the food is only a 2 star.

First Time to this establishment & the Service & Food sucks. The only thing that was good was the free chips & salsa they serve. they messed up on our orders & tried to over charge us.

Awesome service and great food. The owner is very courteous and accommodating. Thanks for the ceviche, tasty menudo, and Michelada to cure my hangover. You folks made my 3 week stay in Missouri pleasurable. Best Mexican food in town. Gracias amigos!!!

Some of the better Mexican in super-​urbane St. Robert/​Waynesville. They have plenty of seating for going away parties, and will let you bring in your own cake. Service is pretty good, and they have a full bar. The menu is huge, and their salsa is a bit watery but still has some kick. My husband really likes their queso dip, but once got their queso fundido and said it was atrocious. So stick with just the cheese. We’ll usually get the carne asada tacos… and their street tacos are good too. Sopapillas are nothing special.

OMG. Great to have a Mexican restaurant that serves more than a ground beef burrito as big as your head or simply has tacos with beans and rice. Don Jose’s has an extensive and impressive menu that may require the assistance of one of their pleasant wait staff. I’ve been there twice in the last four months when in town on business and was not disappointed either time. The appetizers, meals, and deserts were incredible.

Pleasant service and tasty food. The chile relleno was delicious. Friends had suggested we try this place after disappointing experiences at other Mexican restaurants in town. Glad we did.

I am from southern California, so I didn’t come here with super high expectations. Overall though, decent food. The salsa lacked the heat I usually like,.but our entrees were pretty good. The three stars are for service. My husband’s entrée came out five minutes before my entrée AND the appetizer. Yea, the appetizer. My favorite was catching one of the employees on his phone for five minutes under a sign that said no cell phones. Gangster.

Pretty good overall. I had a spicy shrimp burrito and it was tasty. Place was super clean, not overly busy, and wait staff was friendly and attentive. Chips and salsa were just okay. Chips were bland and the salsa was too spicy. Also, the salsa serving was small. As good or better than any of the other mex places around FLW.

My family and I were very impressed with this place! The margaritas were great and reasonably priced. The salsa was fresh and had just the right amount of spice. The kids meals were largely portioned with several options. My fajitas were fresh and seasoned just right. The restaurant and restrooms were VERY clean-​always a plus. Last but but least, our waitress was exceptional. No ones’ drinks or salsa ever came close to being empty and each item was delivered promptly. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I had the two rolled tacos for lunch and they were delicious! My hubby had the chicken quesadillas and they were fluffy filled with cheese and chicken! Yummy goodness. I’d only assume, since he did not offer me to taste.
Only bad thing today, the bus boy took my chips! He took the plates that my husband cleaned off and just took the chips without asking! We thought maybe he was bringing us fresh chips and salsa!
Other than the chips flying away, margarita at yummy 5 star goodness.
I would come back.

Excellent food. We were a table of six and everyone got something different. We all were pleased with our choices and everything was delicious. Their frozen drinks were delicious as well. I would definitely return.

This was their second day of opening so it wasn’t busy during lunch. The staff was very friendly. The owner was walking around greeting customers and making sure that they were taken care of. Our server was very nice and attentive. She made sure that we never ran out of drinks or chips. The food came out quick. It was hot and delicious. The portions were so big that we had to get a to-​go box. For dessert we had the fried ice cream. It was big enough for our family of five. We really enjoyed it! This may have just become our favorite Mexican restaurant
