For a bar inside a hotel… not bad at all! Great beer selection. I had a delicious long Island iced tea. And the appetizers, although expensive, were very tasty. We ordered the Thai chili wings, lobster nachos and grouper nuggets. The bar isn’t super long, but they have alternate seating.

Had a salad with grouper for lunch. The salad was small fish was about 4 ounces. For $ 14.00 it was expensive. I am a small eater and left hungry. This would have not been enough for the average eater. Also the cherry tomatoes were not ripe and should not have been put on the salad

I’ve been here twice. Once for just a drink On a lazy Saturday afternoon and once for Sunday brunch. The service is great and the atmosphere outside where we sat is really quaint and cool. The beer selection is respectable and reasonably priced. The brunch is $ 12 all you can eat on Saturdays and Sundays from eight to noon. They have a made to order omelettes station with limited but good staple ingredients. They don’t have a huge buffet but what they have is really well done. They had amazing scrambled eggs and really fresh tasting sausage. I would go back again for brunch.

We came here for their $ 10 burger fries and beer special. Ordered a vegi burger… a medium burger with swiss and mushrooms… a medium rare with pickle and onion… a medium well with cheddar and tomatoes. They all came out exactly as ordered and they were all well received. Burger was juicy and yummy. The service was spot on. The beer selection is awesome. The parking is a nightmare. It’s usually packed. Nice mixed crowd. Yes.I like this place!

Pretty solid bar and atmosphere. Tons of taps and a great food menu. Definitely check out Tuesday’s because all brews are $ 3. Bring your bathing suit as well because the pool in the back is awesome. Cheers.

Have been here a few times for lunch and dinner and I have yet to be disappointed! The first time was for a team build with my job and we had a tour of the hotel. It is quaint and the perfect location for anything you would want to do in downtown. The food is great and they have a great selection of local craft beer to choose from, which is very important! Always look forward to coming. The most recent visit, I had the stuffed meatball, which is HUMUNGOUS and so worth it. My boyfriend has the spicy meat pizza which was amazing(most places advertise spicy and they aren’t, this was spot on)

Great Sandwiches and the best waffle fries around! Solid diner options. Ive been there a lot and everything has always been nicely prepared and included fresh ingredients and good flavors. Not really the place to be overly impressive, but its a solid choice no matter what the situation. Some things we particularly seek out at the Hollander: Pulled-pork Sandwich with onion ring and slaw was the best, waffle fries, wings, blackened chicken sandwich, porkchop dinner. One of the best beer selections in town! good indoor and outdoor seating. bar has big TV for sports.

On arrival in the afternoon, I sampled a slice of cake from their in house bakery. It was a lovely, Southern kind of way to slow the day on the veranda. Service in the afternoon was similarly slow out of the gate. Could have been annoying if I was short on time, but I was not. In the morning, I ordered a breakfast sandwich. Order your egg any way you like it. The ham in my sandwich turned out to be thinly sliced, deli style — but good. The best detail was the home made biscuit. Hot & flakey. Service was smiley faced & attentive. A happy way, to start any day.

Very nice 12-dollar Sunday Brunch buffet… I’m not sure there’s a better deal in all of downtown St Pete! The food is simple, but well made. Basic brunch: biscuits & gravy, eggs, meats, potatoes, & fruit(with an omelet station). There’s a bloody Mary bar(6.00) as well, which looked well stocked. The interior design of this place is eclectic and welcoming(except maybe for the deer head over the bar), and the huge outdoor porch is extremely nice. It just feels like one of those places you could spend hours just hanging out in. Will be back for sure!

Read the reviews from my Marriott hotel and they got my attention. With no breakfast or lunch I was starving; and the first beer went right to my head. As Jordan, bartender, what he recommended and he asked if I was having hungry — well :)! He suggested the Caribbean Jerk Pork Chops — fantastic! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Enough for two but like I said, I was hungry. Chops served with sun-dried cranberry, apple, and mango chutney. Wow, love this place. Tuesday night $ 3 craft beer and a nice selection.

Although I did not partake at the Tap Room as much as I would have liked but my short time spent is worth a review. My husband and I enjoyed a nightcap on the patio while enjoying an apple martini on $ 5.00 martini Monday. They offer many drink and food specials throughout the week with live entertainment on selected nights. The ambience was nice, the staff was attentive, and the patrons were friendly and down to earth. The morning of check out we decided to sleep in & unfortunately missed their famous breakfast, however; enjoyed a double shot latte from their café & it was delicious. One night is just not enough time to enjoy what this hotel has to offer & I am looking forward to visiting again real soon.

Out from Bend Oregon doing a little work and a little Geocaching. Staying at a hotel close by and this place caught my eye. Friendly staff and solid food. Being from the west coast the IPA selection was a little weak, but of course with 25 Breweries in Bend I am a little spoiled. I settled on an IPA from Utah so I am happy. The food was great and the bar very comfortable. I would definitely come back again when I am in the area. There is really nothing to grumble about a at this restaurant and bar. Thanks so much.

Tap Room is great! Jordan is almost always my bartender and he’s probably the best in town. Great personality and service. Pleasantly surprised by the food and drink prices. Thought they would be on the pricier side being in the Hollander. I had a the tropical sloppy joe. A giant sandwich with a giant slice of pineapple on the top, with jalapeño coleslaw on the side. Sloppy joe rocked! The slaw could use a little more flavor. My friend had a double burger with double cheese and waffle fries. Looked so good. This place is a must try in St Pete. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised as well!

Stayed at The Hollander Hotel, this little gem is connected to the main lobby. Very convienient if you are staying at the hotel but also a place you should visit even if you aren’t staying there. Ate here the first night, ehh not impressed… had the bacon wrapped Mac-n-cheese, tomato bisque, and root beer BBQ chicken tenders. It was yummy but nothing that I would be like«I HAVE to come back for this!!» On our last night we decided to try it again… and I’m glad that we did. I can tell you that our bartender Jordan is the one that turned this review from 4 stars to 5. He is a delight and made our last night stay at the the hotel unforgettable. He is very entertaining and full of character. On this night night my hubby and I had the beef stew… AWESOME, the caprese salad… AWESOME, and the mojo sloppy joe sandwich, the hubby says it was AWESOME! There seems to be a trend… lol. Maybe the first night was a fluke because the second time we ate there they knocked it out of the park. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! The best part of the meal was the specialty drink… it’s called the«Hulladaze»…I told Jordan I wanted something sweet and girly… and he delivered! This drink has fresh basil, pineapple purée, lime juice, brown sugar simple syrup, and dark rum… Holy cow… AWESOME!!! I totally plan on stealing this concoction and claiming it as my own… lol.

This is a really cool place in a really cool city. I would recommend Tuesdays for $ 3 drafts. I would also recommend getting actual food there instead of apps. I think their strengths lie in the entrees, sandwiches etc. Their apps are ok but their other options are good! Great service. Cool boutique hotel.

This historic hotel is located across the street from the water in St. Pete. We went here on a beautiful January night when the air was just a tad cool at 69 degrees. They have a patio outside with about 8 – 10 tables with space heaters for those like me who cannot tolerate anything under 70 degrees. My husband got the sliders and crab and lobster nachos. He thought both were very good and the nachos were loaded with large crab and lobster pieces. I hated the type of cheese they used though because it created a very large clump out of the nachos it touched and it was awkward trying to pry apart the pieces to eat them. What you end up with is one massive nacho in the middle and then the remaining pieces at the bottom had no cheese or crab/lobster meat. No bueno. I had the mozzarella and tomato salad which was delicious. I also had the chicken wings with the thai chili glaze and garlic parmesan sauce. It was nice that they let me get two different sauces on one order. I thought the wings were ok, not spectacular. On two occasions throughout the night we had folks come out and sit on the outdoor couches next to us and smoke a cigarette. That was annoying to me because secondhand smoke doesn’t taste very good with chicken wings.

Pleasantly surprised! We usually don’t like to eat at the hotels restaurant, because we like to venture out in the town. However based on the positive reviews and the flow of customers we saw in and out of the place changed our minds. It’s a great restaurant with excellent service. The menu has many choices and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is so laid back and everyone is very friendly. We started off with fried dumplings for our appetizer which were delicious! As our entrée we had the Blackened Grouper w/Mash and the Hanger Steak w/Waffle Fries(the fries were very stale, but they were quick to rectify the problem) Very pleased with the food. For dessert we managed to squeeze in a delicious Rich Chocolate Mouse Cake, perfect! Dave our server was very professional and attentive. We would definitely recommend.

I went here last night with my husband for dinner. Learning our lesson from going anywhere downtown for dinner on a Saturday night without reservations we called ahead about an hour. We were surprised when we got there there was plenty of seating outside-I guess a reservation isn’t really necessary here(not that I’m complaining honestly I prefer restaurants where you can actually hear each other). The inside of the restaurant however was fairly crowded with loud music which we enjoyed from outside at a much more manageable volume. The food in my opinion was somewhere between OK and good. The same goes for the 2 cocktails I ordered. I think my husband liked his food more though. The only factors bringing this from a 3 star to a 4 star was the music they played(a lot of music from our wedding which made it more romantic for us) and the great service here. The staff were all friendly and attentive.

What a nice cozy and romantic hideaway for some drinks on a patio steps away from the bustling bar scene of Downtown St Pete. I wanted a place to chat and have a cocktail with my sweetheart on a patio — somewhere with creative cocktails that two people could easily carry on a conversation. This place fit the bill! It’s a limited but speak-easy type cocktail list. $ 9 I think. Some couples were sitting on couches and chairs on the covered stone patio and a ton of people were in the lobby. The place inside was packed. Who knew people hung out at hotel lobbies? The inside lobby had a different vibe than the outdoor patio. Outdoor was chill, average noise, romantic with the cushioned seating area and the candelabras; the inside was loud and hopping — not a open space to be found. We sat on a comfortable sofa outside. The servers were busy but friendly and they checked on everyone multiple times. It’s a cool place to check out when you’re not in the mood for a loud collegey bar scene.
