SuperShuttle

Booked online which was super easy. Van arrived within 5 minutes of me grabbing my bags. I used the super shuttle app to check in and they even show you a map of the location of the van that will be picking you up. With the app you can check in online at the airport so you can just pick up your bags and wait at the curb. Also received a text from super shuttle with the van # and arrival time. Van was clean and the driver was nice. He let us know the order he was dropping people off. I use super shuttle 4 to 5 times a year when I visit St Pete Beach and they always provide a great service.

These guys are pretty awesome. The best prices around and amazing staff. The one problem is if they’re picking you up at the port there is no signage about where to go, you have to happen upon someone walking by in a blue jacket. A sign or two at the port and these guys would get 5 stars from me. The staff at the port, once we found them, were friendly and fun to chat with while we waited. The driver was entertaining and informative. Our pick up was delayed due to weather but the SuperShuttle folks were very accommodating.

Trip was fine, but came within a minute of being left behind potentially for days — looking at a text with our confirmed time and then getting messages from the driver that they would have to leave us behind! Why? The company gave the driver a pickup time that was 45 minutes sooner than what was in our confirmation. Sloppy, especially when missing a flight would mean being two days behind a blizzard instead of one day ahead of it.

Timely. Attentive and Inxpensive. In the way of aiport shuttles, this is number one.

I had the most terrifying ride of my life. The driver kept swerving off the road and almost hit a car when he tried to switch lanes. I couldn’t tell if the driver was falling asleep or just really bad. I had an early morning ride and did sleep a wink because I was so scared the entire time. Honestly, never again.

I’d give 4 stars but 5 because the driver was so beyond courteous and polite. My first super shuttle experience was wonderful. Inexpensive, convenient, and very timely. I was a bit confused on how to get to the designated area from the baggage claim. But it all worked out. We had to do one drop off before we arrived to my destination. The ride wasn’t too long. I’d definitely recommend super shuttle and I look forward to using this service again.

Love the updates & map to track the shuttle. It was an hour wait for the shuttle to arrive to get into tampa on fri but the ride back to tampa was much faster.
The drivers were all friendly & the van was clean. Will definitely use them again.

Very convenient quick and reliable. I had no problems with this service. When they had to change my time they called me in enough time to make arrangements. It was cheaper than the rest of the services and goes door to door

Super shuttle is a great option if you have to go to the airport. They consistently pick me up on the same time. This is especially if you live a little further out and über is not as financially feasible.

my group had a reservation to be picked up at 6:50 from the airport. after 30 minutes of waiting, we called, only to be told that they were busy. some 15 minutes later, one of our two shuttles arrived, so half of our party was transported to the hotel, while the rest of us continued to twiddle our thumbs and watch our hair resort to limp rebellion in the humid tampa air. finally, at 7:50, our shuttle sort of pulls up. meaning it came, but didn’t pull in to the pick up area, so we trundled up to meet it.
when we were safely belted in and on route to the hotel (some 12 hours after most of our journeys south began), our lovely group leader sweetly leaned forward and asked if there was a reason for the late arrival. the driver literally grunted, just busy, at her with not the slightest intimation of an apology.
we also happened to notice that the shuttle’s tank was on empty, the check engine light was on, as was the check tire light.
we could have hired several ubers and had far superior, far swifter service.

Super shuttle is real nice to use .And now the have a gps system the tell you when your driver will arrive at your location. Its real handy. The ride to the airport was nice .I will use them again.

Consider me a fan of this service, their more than reasonable fees, and certainly a new highly satisfied customer who’ll be using their services in the future. I will surely tell friends and family of SuperShuttle’s superb service and my all-​around experience with them. Thank you for making the trip to the airport simple and easy– bravo! Excellent Service, always use them, highly recommend their service. Easy to find at the airport, always on time for the pick ups to go back to the airport. The drivers are always personable and helpful. The fares are always reasonable and they take all forms of payment and credit cards.

I would highly recommend them. The van was clean, the driver friendly and helpful and the wait time at the airport minimal. The price is also reasonable.

SUPER-​SHUTTLE was super easy to use, very convenient, and very inexpensive compared to taking a cab to the airport. I will definitely use them again if I’m in Tampa. Very clean, and the driver was courteous. They send alerts to notify any issues that come up. Very pleased.

I have never been disappointed with super shuttle and this was no exception. Easy ressie online, third person was free and when I landed I was greeted with a text message and easy steps to follow to get my shuttle. Both drivers were courteous and efficient. I was able to easily update my return to the airport so that I could get there earlier and the hone customer service was excellent. They communicated well with me and I was more than happy with everything.

This is a very good option to travel between TPA and St. Pete. Taxis and Über are much more expensive. The drivers and prompt and professional.

I’ve used SuperShuttle on and off for the past few years and I have to say the service has become increasingly better, both from the ride experience to the booking and the tracking of the van. They are always on time or within the allotted window and the drivers are courteous and helpful. I love that you can now track where exactly the van is when they’re coming to pick you up, that’s very helpful for smartphone users.
The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 full stars is the return experience at the airport trying to get home. There is no pick up and you have to register at the window. I’ve waited 15 minutes before and I’ve waited 45 minutes before, both during busy and non busy travel times of the year. It’s been largely an unpredictable experience and I would usually take a cab if I fly in late. I don’t want to wait another 30 – 45 minute before heading home when I can already be home. I understand it’s hard to predict arrival times and the time to retrieve luggage but since the booking process asks for my specific flight and arrival time, I would expect a better rough estimate of when I will be ready. But other than the initial wait time varying widely, I’ve never had a bad experience with Super Shuttle and recommend them.

I’ve ridden supershuttle a handful of times in st pete and usually prefer a rental car but this last time the rates forced me to once again have to take the supershuttle. I usually feel uncomfortable on these van things. the conversation feels so forced with everyone. My antisocial self have gone out of my way to avoid these van rides and have paid as much as 75 dollars a day to get a rental car and return it the next day.
But this last supershuttle ride was spectacular. I got the sweetest and to date the only female supershuttle driver I’ve ever encountered in my supershuttle riding experience. Usually I have nothing to talk to the driver about but Miss Brenda was such a sweetie that I ended up telling her my life story and she shared her family life with me too. Keep in mind, I am not a talker even. I would go out of my way to ride on Miss Brenda’s van if I am ever in the area again. Supershuttle drivers like Miss Brenda is what makes the world go round.

I have ridden the Super Shuttle perhaps half a dozen times. Usually I check to see if parking at the airport for the time I will be gone is more or less expensive than using the shuttle. The Super Shuttle became more competitive when airport parking rates went up.
Pick up at home has always been within the time window given me. Normally it is within the first 10 minutes of the time window.
On line scheduling of a pickup is easy. They recommend a pick up time based on flight departure time which means that they are also calculating transit time from home to the airport. I have found these estimates to be reasonable and have never felt I was arriving at the airport either too early or uncomfortably close to flight departure time.
The airport to home trip usually takes a bit longer than home to airport. They seem to wait a bit to maximize the number of passengers. But this is necessary to keep costs down.
Don’t expect a car like ride. After all, these are vans.
Temperature control is good even in the hottest weather. I have never felt uncomfortably warm.
The drivers are very courteous and stow luggage carefully. They never act rushed even though they are on a tight schedule.
I have been very pleased the times I have used Super Shuttle. A taxi is faster and more comfortable. On that basis I considered 4 stars for the Super Shuttle. But the Super Shuttle is such a good value for the money I went with 5 stars.
