History

Established in 2004.

The Queen Anne Victorian home was designed and constructed in 1908 by a well-to-do landholder and City pioneer, Nimrod Longley, for his wife Anne. It is one of the oldest architectural gems in the historic neighborhood in which it was built.

In1935, the home was converted into a Guest House for Northerners visiting during the winter months. It was at this point that each of the four guest rooms on the second floor was equipped with its own private bath.

Other changes were made over the years: An in-ground garden hot tub was installed, a brick paved parking area was constructed along the back alley and a copper roof was added. The original wavy glass windows, wood floors and architectural details have been lovingly maintained through the years.
