History

Established in 1981.

Dr. Bao Nguyen opened his practice on Central in St. Petersburg Florida in 1981. His daughter, Dr. Cindy N. Brayer, joined him for years then built the new dental office on 49^th Street North, still in St. Pete. In 2007, she officially took over the practice ownership and has been growing the family business ever since, adding an associate and specialists to Creating Smiles Dental.

Business Owner

Dr. Cindy Nguyen Brayer graduated with Honors from University of Florida in 1995 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She then continued at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1999. After finishing dental school, Dr. Brayer completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration in Gainesville, Florida, which helped her gain much experience in many aspects of dentistry, including dental implants, prosthodontics and endodontics. Dr. Brayer has been practicing for over 15 years in Florida and California combined. In 2007, she finished building the new, beautiful, state-​of-​the-​art dental facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Brayer has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes in periodontics, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics and most recently laser dentistry.
