Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

Wow did they screw up. 3 burgers and none of them were right. Coffee was ordered and never arrived. And no offer to take anything off the check. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING and it will be a LOOOOOOOONG time before I ever come back here. So many things wrong here tonight, and they didn’t even fix it right, either. NOT COMING BACK.

Food is always good but the wait staff is a little questionable. The woman who works at the bar is by far the best and most efficient, but the 3 women up front… not so much. Very rude. They ignored me for 10 or 15 minutes while I waited simply to make an order. Then acted like they didn’t know I had been standing there even though they had been looking at me throughout the time, didn’t apologize or anything. 4 stars are for the food and the wait staff who appreciate their jobs. Was going to be 3, but the others deserve better.

So I have not been to a red robin in 5 years… So to my delight the food was great!!! It exceeds all previous experiences. Until we talk about or server. So let’s start with only brought out half the drinks asked for sweetner for the tea the first of 3 times before finally getting it we had to beg for silver ware after half of the meal was gone and never received a spoon for my soup which was eaten by fork. No refills untill after meal no dressing for salads when asked and given dirty looks when asking for anything. So thanks Chelsea for one of the worst experiences.

I have been going to Red Robin for some time now and I really like what they have done with the inside of the restaurant. They have taken out all the silly posters and memorabilia all over the walls and made it feel more upscale and worthy of a visit.
I really like that they have bottomless fires but I can never really take advantage of this because of all the burger you get when you go here. I can maybe split a second portion with someone but not on my own.
I love the Royal red robin burger and their tavern double they are usually the only two burgers I get when I go here. The Royal red robin when I am really hungry and the tavern when I am feeling fat and don’t want to add to that I get the tavern double. :)
I would say that if you are wanting a great burger from a chain go here as they actually make the food like it looks in the menu’s pictures.
I like all the appetizer options and drink options they have, especially the onion rings they are really really good!
I know most people on Unilocal whine and complain about chain restaurants but this is one that I am really excited about.

Our server Jennie was fantastic. We asked for fries ahead of the burgers, as we were super hungry and she accommodated us. They’re making some great physical changes to the restaurant. Walling off some sections, like the bar and the front desk and some of the tables from the kitchen. The walls are totally empty now, but the updates will make for a more pleasant dining experience once finished. Always a great time there!

My son ordered spaghetti from the kids menu and wanted extra sauce because it was dry. They brought a cup of what appeared to be marinara sauce so we poured it over his spaghetti. He very quickly asked «is this supposed to be spicy ?» After finally getting someone’s attention they figured out they brought us their ghost pepper sauce! They acted like this was no big deal, I’m not sure how they could have mixed the two! And then to top it off we didn’t even get the meal free!

Great burger. Everything else was lacking. We started with onion rings. The server brought them to us with one plate. And it was wet. Dripping wet. I had to ask for napkins. To wipe off the table. It was that wet from the dripping plate. Took forever to get drink refills. We had to wait over ten minutes. Ridiculous. When the server brought the drinks, she spilled mine on me and said she was sorry. Ridiculous. Great burger. Poor service. Sloppy. Slow.

Pros: 1. Waiter was friendly. 2. Manager went out of her way to make us happy.
Cons: 1. Over priced burgers unless you eat lots of fries. ($ 20 with tax and tip.) 2. Sweet potato fries were cold, stale. 3. Waiter was terrible. 4. «Bottomless Fries» are a joke.
The waiter was friendly. Took our orders, ten minutes later he dropped off cold, stale, rubbery sweet potato fries then disappeared. After about 5 minutes of watching for him I walked them to the kitchen. Kitchen staff assured me they would bring more right out. Ten minutes later they were delivered. Hot, fresh, tasty. I flagged the waiter down and asked for more fries and water. He brought water then another ten minutes later more fries. We had to ask again for water. The manager came out and apologized profusely. She gave us a free dessert to take home. Her professionalism was admirable.
The waiter should not be working there.
«Bottomless fries» is an irrelevant term when they are not delivered in a timely manner.

Let it be noted that we go to RR more than any other restaurant. Not sure if that makes me an expert but I defiantly know when it’s good or bad. This specific location has been troublesome. Staff got order wrong a couple times, managers usually come around to check but don’t here, takes forever to get food, and the portions are rapidly decreasing. I’ll drive a little further and go to the O’Fallon location… they’re just better.

We really love this place — the burgers are fresh and never greasy, the fries are always hot, and the peach iced tea is also «bottomless» and awesome. Be warned: it’s a noisy, toddler and teen-​filled restaurant. But they have big screens everywhere, and the bartenders can accommodate any order you can throw at them.

Service is always good at this location. Food is consistently tasty. Servers are good at anticipating when drinks need to be refilled. They are friendly and smiling, despite the many obnoxious kids around.
The fish and chips is amazingly good — probably one of their best kept secrets. Of course, there are many good burger choices. I like being able to swap bun choices if I’m having a burger. Wraps are good, too.

My son loves Red Robin. It’s the place to see and be seen for the 3 year old set! The free balloons, the unlimited fries (yea — my son is a heavy hitter with the fries), and he also likes their mac n cheese. What’s not to love. For grownups the burger choices are varied as we all know. I wish they would cook a little more pink in the middle instead of well however. No matter how much I emphasize this my burger ends up cooked more than I like. We always get good service however and I like that they have local brews. I tried a 4 Hands saison this time — quite liked it.

Ate here in December 2013. Had the tavern burger. It was a welcome meal back in Saint Louis. This Red Robin is always packed to the gills with soccer moms and office workers. Next time I’m in STL I’ll stop here again.

Loud, food is not great. Service was good. Too pricey for the quality of food. If you like mushy fries and dry burgers, you’ll love this place! We won’t be back.

Always great service. Had a complaint a few months ago about the happy hour that the waiter woukd not honor it in the back dining room. The GM wrote me a letter and sent a gift card a few days later.

Everyone can find something they like at Red Robin! Yes, even if you are not a burger lover! No, it is not the healthiest place to eat. But it is delicious!
Besides the delicious food, customers will also appreciate the wonderful service at Red Robin. The hostess will always greet you at the door, and the wait staff is always helpful and friendly. I have never had a bad experience with service here.
Red Robins are also incredibly consistent, so you can expect to have a similar experience at any of their locations.

Had another great meal and the waiter, Chris, was wonderful!

I wasn’t particularly impressed with the service. Our server wasn’t unpleasant but she wasn’t very attentive either. My friends liked that the Blues game was being played of four screens (we were in the bar area).
TL;DR — If this was too long of a review then you are too inattentive. Try again!
