Pizza, burgers, appetizers I’ve never had a bad meal here before. Only gripe I have is about the onion rings. When I first found this gem of a bar I ordered the triple play which has, toasted ravs, chicken fingers, and onion rings. All where super amazing especially the toasted ravs they are huge. The onion rings were also colossal size. But as of a year or so ago they got rif of the onion rings and only give you onion straws now which are sub par and mediocre compared to the rings they had. Nice beer selection as well I like the place more when they offered BOGO ever day. Now they just do buy one get one half off.

This place needs to address the bug problem. Asked to talk to the manager/owner right in front of me, he walked out the door. Then the waitress charged me for the beer that had bugs in it.

I’m not sure if they’ve done something differently or if it’s just because I haven’t been during winter yet when more people will be likely to smoke inside, but I haven’t really noticed the cigarette smell terribly here. Hopefully they’ve just done something to help clear the air better and it won’t be a problem for me in the future. The food has always been good. Patrico pizza is awesome. They have cheap drink prices and we’ve been plenty of times and have only had one server we didn’t like.

Luckys’ is a spot that is always jumping, even on week nights. I was there a couple nights ago for the Blues game with a couple of my friends. It’s been a stressful semester and needed to unwind a little bit. I’ll start with the food and drinks. I was impressed with the pizza I ordered. It tasted very fresh and could tell it was home made. The beer I ordered was very cool(I’m a stickler on not cold beer). Overall the menu had plenty of interesting choices for a very reasonable price. Next time I’m in, I want to try their Redbird club. It looked phenomenal. The service and atmosphere there are a little different. The server did a pretty good job getting our food and drinks but wasn’t the friendliest waiter I’ve had. He still did a good job and that’s all I can ask. The atmosphere during the Blues game kind of turned me off. I like to hear the commentators and all I could hear was the Trivia going on. I suppose I have to go to a bonafide sports bar to get that treatment. Overall I love the place and will be back very soon! Hopefully not on trivia night.

First off… the good… Staff is very friendly and attentive, food is pretty decent and reasonable, I had their $ 4.99 lunch special double cheeseburger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly, on a nice bun, and came with lettuce, tomato, long cut pickles, and purple onions on the side. Fries were standard crinkle cut. Arrived quickly, and it was very good. The bad… the other reviewers weren’t kidding about the level of smokiness in this place. I didn’t even notice anyone smoking in there when I was there, but the smell was heavy and lingering. They seriously need to get a better ventilation system. I went in at 1130 for lunch, and the place seemed to be full of the type of folks who come in when the bar opens and start drinking til they fall off the stool. Décor is typical dingy, dive bar, kinda depressing. Several friends have recommended it because the food is good and cheap, and the food didn’t disappoint, but there are other bar and grill places nearby withcheap food too, that don’t seem so dingy and rough, or smell like an ashtray. If a friend brought me again, I wouldn’t complain, but wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again; my dive bar days have long passed. I wish they’d clean the place up a bit, because the food really is good and the staff is very nice. I’d have probably gave another star if not for the smoke and depressing ambiance.

Can’t go wrong with the BOGO. This IS a smoking ok establishment, but I don’t notice often. Foods great, beer reasonable, live music all the time and close to everywhere in st. Peters. Lots of TVs to check the games, most pretty good sized too. I hate their parking situation, people just park wherever and on busy nights this makes for a bit of a mess. Over all, good place to hang and possibly over drink. Call St. Charles Cab!

Mr. Lucky’s is BYFAR one of my MOST favorite places ever! The Staff is always very friendly and efficient and there is always someone on the floor ready to wait on you! Their food is some of the best that I’ve ever tasted from a «bar/restaurant». To name a few… the Roasted Chicken wings, Pizza’s, Cajun Chicken & Shrimp pasta, Salads, Fried Chicken and Quesadilla’s are out of this world! Absolutely delicious!!! They also have BOGO(Buy One — Get One FREE) drafts and wells along with $ 10 domestic buckets(5) ALLDAY — EVERYDAY which is unheard of in this town! This just makes Mr. Lucky”s” the best bang for your buck” when you want to go out with some friends to have a few drinks! They always have some type of entertainment going on every night including Live Music, DJ’s, Karaōke and Trivia and all of that is FREE! They have the staples too like Pool, Soft tip & Steel Tip darts, bowling & golf machine games and LOTS of TV’s! This is a «smoking’ bar, but they have brand new smoke eaters which cleans it up nicely and they have a Non-smoking area and a patio so I can always make due with whatever people I happen to be hanging out with. It’s always a fun time here and I HIGHLY recommend checking it out! :)

Mr Luckys has been a namesake in the St. Charles area for years now. They have great food, prompt service, and a fun atmosphere. Nothing here is over priced and I would almost guarantee you wont walk away dissapointed. They do allow smoking, and as a nonsmoker the only times I find it unenjoyable is late night Friday and Saturday. This is due to the high volume of people but its clear they do their best in ventilation. A MUSTCOME, in the St. Charles area!

Mr Luckys is my Cheers. From the first time I meandered into this local bar I felt at home. Like I was part of the family. The bartender asked my name and wanted to get to know me. She genuinely wantd to get to know me. The second time I came in she remembered my name and my favorite cocktail. Amazing! Coming from a restaurant GM standpoint that is tops. I have found friends and had lots of great experiences at Mr Luckys. It truly makes me want to come back. If your looking for a fun time with a hint of the corner bar charm choose Luckys!

LOL the name of this place… it sounded like a strip club. I kind of wish it was. Almost. But yeah. Smoky. Very smoky. Even the ‘non-smoking’ section reeks of cig smoke. Everything I ate the night I came here even tasted like smoke to me. Later on, my clothing reeked of smoke. I honestly do not see the point of even bothering to have a ‘non-smoking section’ if they are going to allow people to walk straight into that section smoking cigs, because that’s what I witnessed on multiple occasions that night. A guy just walking straight into the non-smoking section with a lit cigarette, puffing away. Blegh! Now if you are a smoker, maybe this all doesn’t bother you… or maybe it does, I don’t know… but in any case, the food wasn’t good enough to justify coming back here and enduring secondhand smoke/nasty smells to eat it. :( The service was pretty good, though. Server was prompt and friendly for the most part, though they severely overcooked my partner’s burger and it was more or less inedible. When he told her about this, she seemed shocked, as if to say«doesn’t everyone eat overcooked burgers?!» lol. But she got him a new burger. Oddly, it took almost as long if not longer to prepare than the original burger and it presumably needed less cooking time. Seemed kinda odd. I was a bit disappointed by their beer selection, at least on tap. Overall, would not return here. Maybe if there’s a smoking ban, but even then, there are other places to get turkey clubs, burgers, and beer.

Been here a couple of times and enjoyed it. The food and drinks are tasty but since smoking is allowed I can only give it 3 stars. If you can handle the smoke this really is a great place to watch a game or just hang out and have a drink.

Fun place with decent drink deals but the amount of smoker is a real drag. I like this place but I don’t like feeling like I rolled in an ashtray when I get home. Probably going to keep me and my friends from going back.

VERY Impressed & Surprised. Never expected place to be good by looking outside so never tried, until today… and I’m ready to go back! The server was great & not over the top obnoxious like chain places. But really got impressed the OWNER came to our table to make sure our dining was enjoyable. He was not just there, he was a calm presence for his staff & guests. I’ve never written a review before so this really impressed me. Who’d of thought a BLT sandwich could be review worthy? This one is! It had quality thick slice bacon and tons of it! The lettuce & tomato were farm stand fresh. And white bread has never toasted so perfectly by ANY other place for any kind of meal. The Double Cheeseburger was cooked perfect. It had a fire grilled with pan seered taste that made it taste juicy yet nice crisp edges. The condiments again were super fresh! French Fries & broccoli cheddar soup were normal. Price was cheaper than fast food and soooo much better taste & quality without waiting long at all. And seriously, like Half the price of the chain restaurant bars. We got a LOT of meal for our money with great taste & respectable service. They do have a non-smoking room because it is a bar restaurant that allows smoking. But it didn’t bother us to be in the bar dining area because it was a good background. Go and be impressed for yourself! I wish I hadn’t waited so long…

My family got a recommendation to try this place while we were visiting the St. Louis area. First off, this place STINKS. It smells like millions of smoked cigarettes. Luckily, we ate out on the patio where the odors could escape. The food — well, it was nearly edible. They definitely have the worst potato salad I’ve EVER tasted. I had a burger. The bun was horrible, the meat was decent at best. I’d steer clear of this place if I were you. One good thing was, our service. We had a nice young lady who catered to our needs and did a nice job.
