I always find great stuff here at a bargain price. The workers are really nice too and they keep the store clean and as organized as possible. It’s easy to find the things you need when you need them!

I went too the goodwill mid rivers… bought a vase… was very beautiful… took it home. my sister said to look on the bottom and see who made it… come to find out it was a used urn… had the date on it and everything… goodwill had put the sticker over it. I immediately threw it in the trash. called them this morning they said I should of put it outside and brought it back… I did not want that thing anywhere near me… I will never go back to mid rivers goodwill… be careful what you buy there :-(

Terrible corporation that masquerades as a charitable orginization. They pay disabled workers almost nothing. Nope.

Ridiculous! Overpriced crap! Original price tags from Target for instance we’re still on the items and they have the nerve to ask 5 to 10 dollars more than what target was asking. Good well used to be a bargain but now its corporate greed!

Absolutely RIDICULOUS prices on vintage items. Whoever is managing this place needs to stop watching American Pickers and realize that they are running a THRIFTSTORE rather than an antique shop. See, at an antique shop the dealer has to PAYFORTHEITEM, then CLEANITUP, then FIXIT(if it needs fixing, which most of these Goodwill items do need), not to mention an antiques dealer has to drive far and wide looking for these items. An antique store owner also has to have a very good education on what an item is and what it is actually worth in a retail setting. The Goodwill manager who marks their DONATIONS up to(and beyond) antique store prices does NONE of these things. They obviously have no education or understanding of vintage items beyond what they see on television or eBay.(Hint: learn how to use the«Sold Items» search. .. or, better yet, pay for a Worthpoint membership, like I do.) This particular Goodwill is the worst of the 6 — 10 Goodwill’s that I visit on a weekly basis. Whoever is pricing this stuff should be fired. I will still visit because it’s on my route, but I’ve found that I’ve spent much less there over the last year.(I am an antique store owner and I spend thousands of dollars a year at 2nd hand & thrift stores on vintage/antique items.) Oh, and I also own about ten thousand records. It is a major hobby(obviously). This is the WORST Goodwill for buying records. The absolute worst. Whoever is pricing their records should be fired. Pricing scratched, warped, split seam classic rock records at TWICE what I ask for the same records in better condition at my shop(I clean my records and place them in plastic sleeves for my customers. .. and even then I don’t have the nerve to ask fifteen-dollars for a beat up Lynyrd Skynyrd record which wouldn’t be worth ten dollars in NM condition.)

I guess they think they are a boutique now? The«fancy» rack(that’s what the worker called it LOL!) behind the counter with massively marked up items that never sell is hilarious(as is the sign hanging on it telling customers to ask for assistance and to not touch the items that every other goodwill I’ve ever been to doesn’t hoard behind the counter). Double what you can find it for on eBay. Nothing like spending $ 60 for used jeans with a «$ 60» written in them in PERMANENTMARKER. Used under armour and Nike marked up to $ 12? Crazy! Most clothing items are low end. The few things they get that are worth buying are destroyed by marker. And then x’d out mark ups with a lower mark up and initials in permanent marker on the actual clothing because no one will pay that high of prices for an item they’ve chosen to damage. My last few visits I overheard customers expressing their anger of the ridiculous markups so it’s good to know I’m not the only one irritated by this store. They had a ratty haired life size Rapunzel doll priced at $ 50, it was obviously very well loved by its previous owner. I overheard a customer tell the manager that the Thomas the Train set in the locked case(selling for $ 99!!!) that it was on sale at Walmart for $ 50. She looked at the Target tag(they get unsold Target items) on the back and it was marked down to $ 49.99 before coming to them. Thrift store rule of thumb it should have been half that price at Goodwill, so $ 25 max, not DOUBLED! It’s a very greedy store worth going to for a good laugh or to find expensive items they are clueless about, it feels good to buy one of the few high end brands(I am not going to name brands because they’ll mark it up to $ 100 if they wise up to it) with no markup from this location. Eventually the humor wears off and you get too irritated to go back, so it’s their loss. I average several hundred+ $ a month spent at Goodwills, this one is no longer in my shopping rotation thanks to their greed.
