Spinners Rooftop Restaurant

They counted my 2 month old daughter as a person to put gratuity on the table. Very classy.

The view was beautiful. That’s about all I can say about this place. The salads had rotted lettuce, the entrees were less than average (everything was frozen, covered in fatty sauces, with little authentic flavor), and the steaks were flavorless and not properly cooked. I would never pay for this food again.

My husband and I ate at Spinners for dinner. The reason for 5 stars… is because the view is as amazing as the food. You need to make reservations. sun sets around 8:25 so 7:30 — 8:30 is prime time to be up there. The floor slowly spins while you eat so you get a 360 degree view while you eat. We tried the crab stuffed shrimp for an appetizer. It was surprisingly good the glaze and cheese on top made the dish. They bring out fresh rolls and olive oil to have with dinner which is a nice touch. My husband had the Mahi Picatta and I had the Mahi Oscar. The Mahi Picatta was the better of the two but they were both great. The mashed potatoes are in a league of their own so they are a must! The asparagus were thick (which I am not a fan of) but they did have good taste.

Awesome spot! Great food, service and view! I was not once disappointed in the restaurant. A must go-​to spot on St Pete beach! Go, you will enjoy yourself

Brought my girlfriend to spinners for her birthday, Definitely a experience to remember. The view was beautiful especially during sunset I would recommend to make a reservation before hand. We had the steak and shrimp, (12oz Ribeye 12ozNY Strip) it was let me tell you made to order delicious I will be coming again!

My wife and I stopped in on a recent trip to St. Pete Beach and being local to the area, we just dropped in, no reservations, etc. Not a big deal, we were quickly seated in the bar area by very nice staff. The view here is amazing, being that it is a spinning restaurant with panoramic views of St. Pete Beach. We didn’t think we were short changed at all by sitting in the bar area. In fact, it was quite nice to see the people that made reservations spin around us as we sat comfortably and stationary.
Our server brought us out our drinks in a hurry. I was driving so I just settled for a sweet tea while the Misses had a beer. We then placed our orders. We had a steak dinner and my wife ordered a fish dinner.
How was the food? Well unremarkable is probably the best way to describe it. The steak had little flavor, and it didn’t taste like it was quality beef for the price that we paid. It was edible, just not anything different than what I could get from a chain steak restaurant at half the price. The fresh catch my wife had was also just OK.
The good? The service and the experience of being in a rooftop restaurant. I think this place may rely too heavily on their location and proximity to breathtaking views. I just wish that the food was also breathtaking.
I really wanted to enjoy everything about this place and it just fell short.

For something a little special it is worth the travel time for sunset. The number one place for first time visitors. With the new bar on floor 11, this is an exciting sunset dinning experience

My favorite restaurant in Florida! I love the food, and the atmosphere. Most important is that it’s an affordable upscale restaurant. I will be back to enjoy the food & drinks while watching the sunset across the Gulf of Mexico. Love it!

View was awesome. Service was slow. Bar took long to get drinks tuna was fishy and steak over cooked.

Had lunch there. The food was good but not the best that I’ve had. The crab stuffed shrimp app was very good. The snicker cheesecake was also tasty but small. The food could have been hotter. You definitely did not have to wait long for your food. The courses were almost served too close together as it seemed we were being rushed to make room for the next reservation. Every staff member was extremely nice. No seat is a bad seat with the revolving floor. You get a 360° view in about 1 hr of time with the revolving floor. I’m sure it was just me but a few times I would look down at the floor & feel a little queasy (and that was without alcohol). I think the best part about Spinners is the view. I would like to go back at sunset sometime.

Beautiful sunset view… drinks (Almond Joy and Moscato with dinner) were great… Ribeye cooked perfectly and was tender and tasty… Mahi Piccata was delicious but the great veggies were over salted. Jessica gave terrific service and allowed for a relaxing dinner experience. Downside was one person bathroom.

Y’all, this was the best filet I have ever had in my life. Melt in your mouth, amazing. Charles from Cali was our server and he was great! Treat Yo Self and come enjoy this!!!

We had our wedding in St. Pete in November and had dinner here afterwards. Everything was great from the food to the atmosphere !!! Thank you for making our day even more special!!!, Candice and Randall

Cheese plate was nice but not overly anything and Bree could have been warm. Coconut skewers chicken was very good. Ambiance was perfect.

Check out the fantastic open air lounge on the 11^th floor. A great place to grab a drink before and/​or after dinner. Good drink prices for a swanky place.
Great place to chill at the end of the evening, open until 2:00.

It is so nice up here on the 11 the floor. Nice atmosphere relaxing and great services. We have a perfect view of the city and surrounding. We are will be back. Check it out for sure

Amazing food, atmosphere was great. The view is amazing; definitely try to make a reservation for dinner time to see the sunset. Try to sit outside if possible-​doing so means missing out the revolving rooftop, but the view is just as splendid.

Three friends and I drove from Orlando to St Pete for dinner after hearing rave reviews from friends. Were not disappointed… views outstanding and so was the good. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the noise level is high, particularly when it revolves around the bar. But that didn’t curb our enthusiasm as the views continuously changed and all of us said we would return. One friend and I had the steak (very tender and tasty) with crab and hollandaise sauce, side of pasta, and a margarita (very well made. The other two ordered the chicken parmesan, which they said was very good. We were served an excellent salad which was fresh and crisp and beautifully presented. Would love to return and stay longer!

Another revolving rooftop bar/​restaurant where the view outshines the food! Had the Reuben sandwich with sauerkraut and potato salad.
The sauerkraut was bland, the potato salad had large chunks of red potato with just a smear of anything that could be called salad fixings, and the corned beef was tasteless. Very disappointed!
On a more positive note, the clam chowder was very tasty! Don’t go for the food, have a drink, enjoy the view, and get out!

You come here for the view. It is unfortunate the food does not match the experience provided. The restaurant is strait out of the 80’s and so is the menu. This place has so much potential. I really just don’t understand why the food doesn’t keep up with the times. Everything we ate was just okay. My chicken parmesan was something I could make in 10 minutes with some panko breadcrumbs and a jar of tomato sauce. Needless to say, not worth the prices. Every other dish we got reminded us of restaurants from the 80’s-90’s.
Service was good. Wine list was good as well. Next time we come, we will just sit at the bar to enjoy the view until the menu is changed.
