Great place. Great people. I’m always asked if I’m comfortable and if everything is all right.
I’m partial to the double red donation as I consider that my free spa (heat pads on my shoulders and arm plus a blanket) and I get to kick back and read. The double red is a interesting process and since it gets more of the critical blood they need, I only can give every 4 months so its not a big commitment. Plus when I’m done, it’s snack time :)
My only reason for 4 stars is that if you are a gay man, they (or any other place) don’t allow you to donate. I know gay couples who have been in 20+ year long loving and committed relationships who can’t donate and straight friends who think with their you know what who can. That’s wrong.
So anyway, if you can, please donate. Unilocal is mostly about food but blood also has a short shelf life so the need is always there.
