This used to be the best Chipotle. Then when they fired all of the illegal employees(seriously, there was a massive crackdown) it went way downhill. Note that statement is not about race in any way. You could say that it more reflects poorly on the slackers they hired to replace some good workers.

Yes I’m from California… but a Chipolte that closes at SIX?! We arrived 5 minutes after and we’re rudely told to leave. I get that you just closed. I myself have worked in the service industry. But a little friendliness in your interaction with customers would be appreciated.

I can’t believe this location isn’t on Unilocal yet, it’s been around for a number of years. I just had lunch here today. It’s Chipotle, almost everyone knows about the food. If you’ve eaten at a different one, the foods the same here. I think it’s pretty good, but I won’t elaborate more than that. If you are hoping to eat over lunch, get here early(like before 11:00) or be prepared to wait. I went yesterday and the line was out the door at noon so I left. Today I pre-ordered online for pickup at 11:15. I got there on time and the line was again out the door. Thankfully I got to go to the side pickup window and didn’t wait at all, but otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed. I highly suggest pre-ordering, it’s easy, no added charge, and you get to completely skip the line. Again though, if you are gonig to pre-order, do it early. A coworker tried to pre-order at 10:00 for 11:15 pickup and was told the earliest he could pickup was 12:45. So if you know you are going here for lunch, order right away in the morning. The location itself is a little cramped, but they have nice outdoor seating in the summer.

It took me too long to stumble upon this place when I first moved here(some friends I have — they kept this to themselves). Whenever I feel the need for some fast food this is the place I always turn to or if I only want to eat one meal for the day :) You honestly can’t go wrong with anything in this place; it’s all really good and tasty. I’m a big fan of the sauces and always get some of the hot one on the side to pour over my burrito — gives it the extra kick it needs to be even tastier. If you have never been here, there is something wrong with you and you need to rectify it by dropping in for a visit.

This place gets PACKED at lunch time. I’d go Before 11:30 or after 12:30. Like most of St. Paul — Closed on the weekends.

If you go during lunch, there’s no chance you’ll get a table. The place is packed during lunch. It’s only open until 7 too, which definitely is better than 4 their original closing time. I’m not sure if it’s only this location or chipotle in general but the meat has been saltier than what I’m used to. Let’s hope it was just a bad day.

I know its a chain, and lately guacamole prices have shot through the roof, and if you are having a meaty burrito plus some guack, be prepared to pay up. I think that some Chipotles are better then the others. This seems to be one of the better ones. First of all, staff was friendly, I like that. Second their rice was delish, I noticed that oftentimes the rice has been too dry, but here the quality has been good. Eat up!

If I wrote a Chipotle review 3 years ago it would be 5 stars. Lately however, Chipotle in general, and this one in particular, have kinda sucked. I have had lunch at this location at least 50 times. At least. And my wife easily as many as we both work downtown and nearby. And we both agree, my wife’s last visit and my last two visits have been WAY below par for Chipotle. My «regular» selections are either a chicken burrito bowl, chicken fajita burrito or crispy chicken tacos. You see, I like(or maybe now«liked») their chicken. And on these last few visits the chicken has been… not good. Which is not good. I like their chips and guac too. I hope they recover from this flap… if they do I’ll update. I’ll likely just give them one more try and if its bad again it’ll be a long hiatus.
