Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Yes, I came to Valvoline when I was in a pinch for an oil change before a road trip. I wanted to man-​mode it and DIY it but TIME IS MONEY BABY. There are a ton of oil change stations around here that can do the deed. This one had the shortest line and a coupon online.
The staff was friendly and directed me nicely as expected. They tried to up-​sell a bit but weren’t too pushy. After waiting in line, I was in an out in about 20 – 25 minutes. They checked some other stuff for me too but all was well.
If you need a change than this is a solid choice!

I usually go to the dealer to get my oil changed. But saw this was closer and decided to give them a try. What a great place! Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Went over the choices, didn’t try to up sell me for additional services I didn’t need. Quick, quick, go early in & out in 15 minutes! Will definitely be back! Great job!

Staff was great, hours are accomodating, and they don’t try to sell you on anything you don’t need!

I have never had such a pleasant experience while getting a oil change. Greeted with smiles, in and out very quickly, and a very good price with the Groupon. Even though it was a little out of my way, I will be coming back here from now on.

Pretty impressed with this place. Been here twice now. They meet you at your car, they were fast, very friendly. I won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon.

Needed a state inspection at 2pm on a Saturday and went to two jiffy lubes that were closer to my house and both stated that they «were done doing inspections today.» Then came here and even though they were super busy, everyone had a smile on their face and they were actually offering all of their services until close!

I had never gotten an oil change anywhere but my dealership but decided to try Valvoline on the recommendation of a co-​worker. They had absolutely awesome service. All of the mechanics were extremely kind and helpful without trying to up-​sell me anything. They let me know about some preventative maintenance, but actually recommended that I wait and double check my records. They worked quickly and efficiently and left me feeling confident that my car was in great condition.

I’ve been to this Valvoline multiple times and usually it’s in and out in 30minutes or less, business as usual, as advertised. Went here today and waited about 30 minutes to pull into the garage, not a big deal since they were full. Once I got into the garage I had to wait another 15 minutes before anyone even said a word, meanwhile, two people that pulled in after me were already being serviced. Then when someone finally did help me, the guy didn’t seem to know what he was doing and seemed much more interested in flirting with me then getting me back on the road. Both of the cars that pulled up after me left the garage before my air filter even got checked, and I was there for about an hour and a half total. Not happy with this service, especially since I can go elsewhere, wait that long, or less, and get my oil changed at a cheaper price. The only reason I went to Valvoline is because they were always very fast. Completely unsatisfied.

I’ve been to this valvoline twice for oil changes and both times I have been pleased. The workers are friendly and respectful. I have never found them to be pushy. They saw that my skid plate was missing a bolt and they found one and put it on for free. Although it may have taken longer than 15 minutes, the service was worth the wait.

Went to get an oil change and a state inspection. I never felt like I was being sold something TJ didn’t need, which is important as a female. Nick, the manager, even told me I can come back to get his opinion on repairs if I ever need it! I will definitely be back!

Nowhere near the advertised 15 minute oil change. Ended up taking about an hour to get oil change and rotation. Very friendly/​professional staff. Conventional oil cost $ 41 without coupons.

This place is AWESOME!!! I expected the usual. To be sent to a dingy, dirty waiting room with stale coffee that had been sitting there for hours. Instead, I stayed in my car while they changed my oil, filter, fill fluids & check a whole bunch of stuff. Brian stood by my door ‘logging me in’ & filling out the computer questioner while the other service workers changed the oil etc. I drove in & left within 20 minutes! I will certainly be back! I can not rave enough about how awesome the entire team at this specific Valvoline is! You guys ROCK!!!

This is by far my favorite place to get my oil changed. The staff is so friendly, helpful and never out to stick you with extra charges. When I went in yesterday for the second time they told me that I needed a new engine air filter. They had told me that the last time I was there also so I already knew they didn’t stock the kind I needed. Sal, my technician — who was amazing, offered to call O’Reilly’s and AutoZone and see who had it cheaper. After the first call he offered to call back and order it so I could pick it up and come back with it. Then he told me they’d install it at no charge. When I complimented him on his help and service he said that it should be standard at any Valvoline but I know from personal experience this isn’t the case. This location has my business for ever!

I’ve been to this Valvoline six times. Service is good. My Wait times have always been 40 to 45 minutes plus an additional 15 minutes once the vehicle is inside. I keep coming back because they offer convenience with the oil change, but the initial wait time is becoming frustrating. I don’t mind paying the higher oil change prices that Valvoline charges, but not if I have to wait a similar amount time that I would at a lower cost service center. My last visit time total was just over an hour for an oil change.

Horrible service! They told me it would take 15 minutes to get to me and it took an hour. They had absolutely no organization.

Very efficient service. There were 3 cars ahead of me. They had to fix a brake light and check a few other things out on my car. Still had me in and out within 25 minutes. Appreciated that they told me what to keep an eye on and fix later on rather than spending all the money today. I prefer staying in my car during the oil change so they can ask me questions or vice versa while they get things done. Employees were extremely friendly!

Service is good and quick. Staff is very friendly and quick to get everything taken care of. Price is a little steep at $ 37 after $ 5 coupon (before tax). Cheaper at my dealership. They try to up sell a bit but know it’s just a mandatory part of their job.
Only curiosity for me is that we were in 2 months ago and oil life was coming on as 15% via the car’s maintenence warning system not even 2 months later. When we go to the dealer, it’s never that quick so seems a bit odd. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they didn’t reset the indicator in the car last time.
They’re fast and friendly and that’s the bottom line. Would recommend it if you’re hurting for time but if you have enough time to get to the dealer might be worthwhile. Either way, every employee in this place is very nice and hardworking so worth your time!

I visited Valvoline because I had a groupon $ 20 for $ 41 worth of service you cant beat that. I also 20% off additional services and I ended up getting my filter changed and my tires rotated so total I spent $ 59. GREAT DEAL!
Valvoline really had great service as far as my car is concerned. The only thing thats missing which is why I like jiffy lube is the t. v or radio playing in the waiting room. Talk about awkward silence with the other people waiting. It was a bit weird and uncomfortable. I know they promise you in and out within 15min so they dont want you to get to comfy. However my service took 30mins so sitting their in silence made me uncomfortable and I grew impatient
But not a bad experience although the waiting room needs an overhaul.

After a few visits — for different services and with different cars, I might add — I’ve quickly become a fan of this Valvoline location.
Yes, there sometimes is a line of cars to enter the work bay, and yes, some of the services may cost a little more here than at other garages. But you’re paying a premium for convenience and speed without losing the quality. And sometimes, getting crap done and getting on with my day is really worth it to me.
The oil change really is pretty darn quick. Once I was in the bay, I think it only took about 15 minutes. Another time, I had them inspect a scary-​sounding thing under the hood and also replace a tail light. Again, the whole process was painless and quick. Most recently, I had a safety inspection and emissions test. This took a little longer because the guy in front of me also was getting official inspections, so I waited in the side room for about 15 minutes while they finished that dude’s car before switching to mine, and once they began my services, it was only another 15 – 20 minutes.
Mechanics always find stuff wrong with cars, and Valvoline certainly recommended a few services in addition to what I had ordered. But they’ve never been pushy about it, plus they told me how long I could hold off on doing specific things (I later verified their advice with my stepdad, my across-​the-​country car wizard, and he agreed with Valvoline every time). Moreover, they’ve tried to tell me when I didn’t need services. Because my car is a certain model year, Valvoline said that Missouri didn’t require the emissions test and suggested that I leave that service off. My paranoid self still wanted that piece of paper, so I went through with the test, but damn if Valvoline didn’t try to save me a few bucks!
With an in-​out, quick-​service auto place like Valvoline, you should know that it’s going to be crowded at lunch, after work and on weekends; you’ll have to wait in line way longer before entering the work bay. I suggest going before 10 a.m. (They open at 8 a.m. most days) for the fastest service. Even if you do go during peak times, you still won’t be there as long as you would at Firestone or most auto places, plus you don’t need an appointment.
For convenience and expertise, Valvoline has been worth the price every time.
