Michael Latas & Associates is an executive search and consulting firm specializing exclusively in the Construction and Architectural/​Engineering industry. We have been working nationwide since 1975. Our clients are contractors or A & E firms who are looking to hire top talent to fill key executive, managerial or professional positions within their organizations. While every client company is unique, they all have one thing in common: They want to grow their bottom line.

History

Established in 1975.

Michael Latas began the company in 1975 working from his dining room table (The kitchen was ‘off limits’ — the kids had to eat somewhere, right?). His idea was that what makes a company successful hinges on having exceptional people in key positions who are achieving their personal career goals by providing their inspired leadership, management and/​or technical expertise to their employer. Mike’s work was his passion and he lived and breathed MLA until his death in 2004. His son Rick has taken over as President and continues to follow Mike’s philosophies.
