Specialties
Heather Mohr Photography exists to capture some of the most beautiful and most fleeting seasons in your life: your pregnancy, your hospital experience, and life with your brand new baby. Imagine being able to show your child visible proof of the love that surrounded his or her arrival, from the way you cradle your belly, the way your partner looked at you as you held your child for the first time, the smallness of your baby in your hands, and all those sweet baby details that grow and change so fast. In addition to providing you with perfectly posed baby photos, my goal is to provide you with images that forever make you feel as amazing as you did in your special moments. Because those moments only happen once, and your story deserves to be told and remembered.
History
Established in 2014.
I am a maternity, newborn, and family photographer based out of Bethalto, IL, and also serving the St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas.
I have a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Masters in Human Resources Management, both from Washington University in St. Louis. I’ve also taken multiple photography courses and am the owner of many eWorkshops and online learning materials. I’m a bit of an education junkie, and feel continued education is so important in any field!
Capturing memories is my passion. I know firsthand how quickly the pregnancy and birth experiences fade into distant memory, how quickly babies turn into toddlers, and how vastly families change from year to year. I would absolutely love the honor of documenting your family’s story through photography, whether it is your pregnancy, your new baby, or your family life from year to year.

My most important roles are that of wife to my husband and mom of our three beautiful children. My firstborn, Madelyn, was only with us a very short time on this earth. Her life has changed me and inspired me in many, many ways. She is a big part of the reason I am here, following this photography dream of mine! It is safe to say that all three of my children have influenced my journey more profoundly than I could ever explain. They are my little loves! And even though Madelyn is no longer with us on earth, we will always carry her in our hearts.
When I’m not spending time with my family or photographing and editing sessions, you might find me working my «day job» as a Compensation Analyst, taking my turn on the piano at my church, or serving in my volunteer role at Sufficent Grace Ministries.
I’ve always loved documenting my life through pict
