She’s a genius and I hope she never leaves me. First time in years my fine curly hair has been manageable and in the STL climate that’s saying something. She’s got great advice on product and never pushes. She’s a gem. Don’t despair if she is closed to new clients, send her an email w a photo and when a client moves away you’ll be able to sneak in. But then you won’t ever want to see anyone else :)

I have been getting my hair cut by the Curly Girl method for years in Chicago, but when I moved to St. Louis, the search immediately began for a stylist I could trust with my curls. I initially found Curls by Cass online and was discouraged by the 6 month wait for a new client appointment, but I made it anyway hoping it would be worth the wait. I was not disappointed.
Cassie has a small, but beautifully decorated space inside the Loft Studios Salon and Spa building. The small space turned out to be an asset as I was able to go through the regimen of cut, wash, dry, and cut without leaving my chair. She even has the official hood dryer direct from the Devachan salon that efficiently dried my long curls without any acrobatic neck manuevers.
My hair has never looked better walking out of a salon. Cassie is trained in advanced Devachan methods and was great at recommending new products for my ever changing hair texture. While the wait is sometimes frustrating for those who aren’t very good at planning ahead (me…), knowing I will come out with curls I can be proud of is worth it. I’ve already booked my next cut!

The website does not make clear that Curls by Cass is not taking any additional clients.
The current system with Curls by Cass is to register, provide your personal details and lodge an appointment request (complete with appointment date and time).
Prospective clients then must respond to an email to indicate how they were referred, before they are informed that Curls by Cass is not taking any more clients.
The system needs to be reviewed so that prospective clients aren’t wasting their time with a stylist who is not taking additional clients for the foreseeable future (I tried to book an appointment four months in advance).

Cass is amazing! I have never been so happy with a haircut! For the first time, I actually liked my hair when the stylist was finished with it. It really helps that she has curly hair as well and so knows first hand the struggles that curly girls (and guys) face. I have had a Deva Cut before, but it was nothing compared to what she was able to do with my hair. I would definitely recommend her!

Cassie has such an energetic and warm personality that getting your hair cut is a hoot. But to boot, she’s a top notch beautician. My hair is often flatter and limper than I like, but Cass gave me an expert curly cut that had me bouncier and fuller than I’ve ever seen. If you have curly or even mildly curly hair, I highly recommend Curls by Cass. Your hair will thank you for it.

Woohoo! As good as it gets! Yes everyone that’s right, 5 stars! Cass saved my curls when she introduced me to the Deva Cut & Deva Curl line. I have learned so much about my hair. I now know how to appropriately tend to my curls and they love it too! Cass’ passion as a stylist is superb! She is honest, inventive, an educator, and will make you smile!
