Go to Mercy (St. John’s). Any Urgent Care office is better. Have been there with family members and halfway decent care. ER doc on staff ¹²⁄₁₇ evening was cold and definitely mad he had to work last night. Nurses and reception staff were awesome. Will take my Aunt elsewhere next time.

Was in hospital for surgery afterwards was taken to Orthopedic floor Nursing care was terrible had to keep calling out for pain meds more than once some of the Nurses acted like they just didn’t care had to have my doctor call the nurse to get meds. Had a unprofessional nurse anesthetist who was so rude. Never again will have surgery there.

Best kept secret in St. Louis. WashU physicians without having to go downtown. Free parking, friendly staff. Little to no wait to see the doctor.

Staff is nice with the EXCEPTION of the cafeteria staff. The lady serving food was completely rude to everyone who wasn’t of the medical staff. The food in the cafeteria is the stereotypical hospital food… don’t let it’s look fool you. Chicken was dry, cooked veggies bland, rather expensive. If you’re waiting for a patient or visiting one go and drive around the area for better food. Needs maintenance work inside the rooms. Bathroom vanity light was out, cabinet hinges falling off, and blinds wouldn’t pull.

I’ve been to this «hospital» 3 times. The last was OK, the first two were awful… not clean, nursing staff were mean and not interested in helping you do anything. Thank goodness my daughter was with me… who happens to be in the medical field and was furious with the level of care. If not for her, I wouldn’t have had help going to the bathroom after surgery, getting my pain meds, or trying to sit up to eat. The only thing that made the last time better was a kind, caring NURSES AID! I’ll never go back there again!
TO TOP ALL THIS OFF, I had to request my medical records for the procedures and this excuse for a hospital charged me $ 51.00…the only one out of 4 hospitals that I had to request procedure information!

Nope. Don’t do it. Take the extra twenty minutes and go downtown. I spent more than 6 hours over the course of two days simply waiting, and I kid you not, I was the only one in the waiting room. I was called back three times! to re-​do a test that they messed up three times! When I went back for each test, there was no record in my file for a «retake». There was no communication. This place is lost within itself. Steer clear!

I visited this hospital for Urgent Care twice. I was not satisfied with either visit. First I visited for an arm injury, in which I fell and jammed my arm causing severe pain in my forearm and elbow. They x-​rayed my arm and basically said nothing was wrong, and recommended I take ibuprofen. After a few days of pain I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon and sure enough, there was an obvious fracture on my radial head in my elbow. They even used the same X-​ray images from Barnes, so it wasn’t an issue with the xray, it was (in my ortho doc’s words) the doctor’s inability to recognize an obvious fracture. The second time I used this urgent care I had rolled my ankle and felt/​heard a pop and was worried it was broken. They did an X-​ray and assured me it was just a bad sprain, referred me to an ortho doc, gave me crutches and an aircast, and sent me on my way. I was happy with my service until my bill came. They charged me $ 300 for a boot they claimed to have given me, rather than the $ 40 aircast that I actually got. My insurance company said they did not cover a boot since it was only a sprain, so I was charged for it. I had to call and call and call, only to be told that it was written in my chart that I was given a boot, so that must be what I got! I finally contacted someone higher up and demanded that they check the surveillance cameras or allow me to talk directly with the doctor that saw me, and they eventually just refunded the money. Although the issue was eventually resolved, there is no way that it should have taken so many phone calls to fix it, and I definitely did not appreciate the people in the billing department acting like I was trying to steal from them. Although trips to urgent care are not usually planned, I definitely will not use this one again unless I absolutely have to.

The most fast, professional and patient caring Emergency Room ever!!! I have been a couple of times here for family members, friends and myself and have to say I keep coming back in every emergency. The staff from check-​in to checkout are just true professionals! They listen attentively and take quick action into ensuring a proper diagnosis with an excellent treatment plan to follow. Then, the most amazing thing is that is the most fastest checkout, with little waiting time in between; I’m always out from the Emergency Room in no more than an hour and half!
Furthermore, last year, my father had a severe infection in his arm acquired in a malpractice after a car accident. My mother took him here and he was under care for several weeks due to the severity of the infection and the staff was just amazing! They continuously checked his progress and develop different game plans to tackle the infection as it progressed. The staff was very helpful and caring towards my mother and sister during this time. We are very grateful to have such a wonderful hospital around and we highly recommend this place!
