Wonderful job done by these guys! They were accommodating, treated my things nicely and were hard workers! They were quick, but were not careless. They used shrink wrap and blankets to protect my heavy items. I would highly recommend them! Great price too! Thank you!

I contacted them requesting a quote. The city is tearing down our house as part of a new street project, and compensating the homeowners/​renters with moving costs, etc. I was told to contact two moving companies for estimates so the city could pick one. I sent an email request with an arbitrary date since we don’t know when we are moving because the city controls that. I was told that they were busy that day and «Sorry.» Didn’t ask if I was flexible, no professionalism at all. Not sure I want them handling my stuff if they respond to a simple request that way.

Reoccurring problems such as final costs that greatly exceeded the bid price, damaging furniture, inexperienced movers, poor communication, & keeping customers waiting were mentioned in reviews posted on Angie’s List. Most of the other reviews, though, were sooo good that I concentrated on the «glass half full» side of this company.
Marty, the owner, was nice over the phone. We talked about the negatives repeatedly mentioned in the reviews & he had an explanation for them all. I was concerned mainly with getting an accurate cost & having only experienced /​professional men do the moving.
Marty stated that «they,» new moving men, have to learn sometime, but ended saying that he would put in my «request.» I thought that was odd for the company owner to say. I asked why, as the owner, he could not assign who would be on the job. He said that it did not quite work that way. I felt that he was skirting the issue & planned on discussing it at the Sunday morning meeting that Marty offered to do. At that meeting, he would review the job & give an accurate cost for the work.
We postponed our move an extra week for this meeting to take place. Marty said that he only did estimates on Sundays, because someone had written a bad review complaining about his extreme lateness. Marty blamed it on bad weather & rush hour traffic. To avoid that from happening again, he set Sundays aside for estimates.
He told me that ours was the only appointment. However, Marty’s wife called that day before 9 AM claiming that he was running late for our 10:30 AM appointment & would be there before noon. Noon came & went & Marty was still a «no show.» We called him twice for an update, but he did not answer his phone. Our last message to him was canceling the appointment.
Marty’s response to our poor review on Angie’s List was that he could not meet our high level of expectations & decided not to do business with us.
So, this is what we learned from our experience with Marty…
1. A potential customer asking for experienced movers & accurate pricing is too much of an expectation for this company to handle.
2. Marty’s way of dealing with a job that is too much to handle is to make an appointment & go through the motions of keeping it when the intent to meet was never there. That is twisted.
We are very glad that Marty was never in our home. We find it hard to believe that a person capable of such a performance would ever do right by any customer if something went wrong on the job. A common theme in their responses to poor reviews posted on Angie’s List is, of course, it is the customer’s fault.

Used these guys this weekend. Amazing. the professionalism was beyond what I was expecting for movers, but they still had fun with the job. I was blown away with how good they treated all of our things, and the speed in which they got the job done.
Can’t say enough about them, they where awesome, and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Simply put: These guys are the best gift you could give yourself in a move.
