Matt’s Auto Care, L.L.C.

Matt’s Auto Care is our family go-​to spot for all auto repair. After taking my car in for a recall and being told I have over $ 1,200.00 worth of things that needed fixing, I took it to Matt’s. Indeed there were a few items that needed replacement, but certainly not the whole list I was presented with. The cost of the repairs was half the price quoted from the dealership. I won’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend.

Giving prices before service isnt an unreasonable request, especially for something as simple as a transmission fluid flush. Places like this give mechanics bad reputations. Hire a secretary if you cant be polite over the phone.

Highly recommend Matt’s Auto Care. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Everyone is very helpful. They know what they are doing. I was stuck in Florida and had $ 5000 worth of work done on my Lexus last winter. The noise was still there. Matt knew exactly what was wrong with my car and fixed it immediately. I now feel safe and will go back to him for any repairs. These guys are awesome.

Amazing workmanship, Everyone there is certified, genuine, realistic, honest! Told me what I needed now, what could wait and the importance of each! Love it! I’m too busy to help my wife with these things I’m glad we found someone to trust! This is also the 2^nd time we used this location! I am a new resident of St. Joseph and I had to find a local auto shop to handle a number of items that needed fixing on my car. I could not agree more with the previous comments here on Unilocal.Matt is honest, patient and willing to work with a customer on whatever issues that needs to be resolved.
I knew what had happened to my car — severe front wheel misalignment (too many potholes encountered) that it caused my front tires to wear out unevenly on the inside… it caused a flat — and Matt listened carefully and provide an open window when the shop can take a look. The shop made every effort to find the parts I needed (Volvo S80 — Lower Ball Joints needed replacements and broken windshield wiper pump) and they were able to acquire all the parts and completed the work while I was at the office.
The car feels much smoother and I have no fear of my tires being worn out unevenly since the shop had also done the front wheel alignment after installing the lower ball joints. My Volvo S80 has over 150,000 miles and thanks to Matt’s shop, it will see more miles in the near future.
I should also mention that their prices were very reasonable and were lower than what I normally receive for a foreign car repair.

Matt is great! Very fair, honest and does great work. Explains what is wrong, gives you an estimate and has it back to you in a timely manner. I couldn’t say enough good things about this shop. I discussed some concerns I had with my vehicle and he gave me an assessment of things that I should do now, and other things that aren’t really an emergency and could possible wait. Very impressed by the service.
