Locally and family owned restaurant specializing in seafood, steaks, sandwiches, specialty burgers and American Food. We are located in a historic building, in historic Old Town St. Helens. Summer time has the added benefit of our 60 person English style garden patio, with an open kitchen on the weekends. The vegetable garden provides fresh entrée and drink specials.

History

Established in 1978.

The Klondike Restaurant and Bar has had several owners through the years. This ownership has been since 2007. The building started out its days as a hotel with a dining room. In the 1950’s it became a bar that locals still speak about fondly and the old building still shows its scars in the form of dart holes and chalk from pool tables on the walls. In 1978 in became the Klondike Restaurant & Bar with a steak and seafood and lunches. Chef Dave was one of the original Excutive Chefs back in the 80’s and is now owner and operator.

Chef Dave has been cooking in various restaurants for over 25 years. He has an excellent palate and an excellent vision for the menu as a homey, comforting and gourmet menu. He is able to excute this menu beautifully, even on nights when the restaurant is full to capacity.
