I saw the ‘Reapers’ when I was skiing. Well, I was having lunch and they were playing great 70’s, 80’s and 90’d rock n’ roll near the deck — Beatles to Green Day. Then I was at the Napa Valley Wine Auction and who should march by? The California Repercussions — I even recognized some of the players so I guess they actually have a decent sized core group. Sections come out and play as do soloists. I’m going to hire them one day but for now we’re planning to see them at the Sacramento Jazz Festival — I think they play Memorial day weekend. Anyway — they are a fun bunch of(good) musicians. They let my kids play on one song(Patricia?) — it’s great elevator music — the kids played shakers and other percussion toys. Fun. Some guy watching got to wear a cymbal hat that kept getting banged on — I think he had been drinking because he was smiling the whole time.

I’m a total groupie of this band! I wish I can always follow their gigs everywhere but it is just impossible. I had the privilege of seeing them live at the State Fair in 2009 and I just got hooked to their music. They play pop rock, some alternative and of course the classic marching band songs. They’re one friendly bunch of folks too. If you are organizing a big event, you might want to consider having The Reapers as one of your performers. Totally worth it! Upbeat, fun and exciting! Feel free to check out their website and don’t hesitate to call them for your fun event.
