History

Established in 2011.

Owner Steve France managed Summerhays Music — one of the countries largest music stores for over 11 years. Now, he has brought his experience and love for the music industry to St. George as The Music Store. His wife, Rachel manages The Music School — the private lesson studios at The Music Store where we have 5 lesson studios waiting for you! Call or stop by any time to learn more!

Business Owner

While in college owner Steve France started learning how to fix band instruments from his local technician. After graduating with a music business degree he moved to Wisconsin to study instrument repair and restoration. After working in Wisconsin for awhile Steve took a job with a music store in Utah — the job was nice but the snow skiing and other outdoor adventures are what really brought him. 12 years, one dog, one wife and one child later Steve started The Music Store in St. George, UT and is excited to share his excitement for music and finding just the right gear with his friends and neighbors.
