Pizza Pie Café is all about fun. Fun with your family, fun with your team or large group, or fun with your date. We have 15 different pizzas, 9 different pastas with 6 pasta sauces, and a full salad bar. All of this for one great price. Our team of crazy pizza makers just keep putting fresh pizza out on the buffet and are happy to make a pizza just the way you like it. Just let them know and they will get it out on the buffet for you to enjoy. At Pizza Pie Café we make pizza dough each day in our kitchens. We also make our pasta sauces from scratch and import our marinara from Stanislaus, CA. Love the cookie monster dessert? We make that excellent cookie dough in our giant 60 quart Hobart mixer. Our stores are full of booths and areas for you to have a quite dinner or your team awards ceremony. We follow an Americana décor and provide a really nice setting for you to enjoy. Come in and try our all-​you-​can-​eat buffet. You will find it as unique as you are.

History

Established in 2014.

Pizza Pie Café was founded in Rexburg, ID in 2003. When it first opened it was a small pizza joint serving college students at BYU-​Idaho and was called Craigo’s Sourdough Pizza. After 2 years in business the decision was made to move to a much bigger location in the middle of town. This provided much needed seating and the restaurant grew in popularity. In 2006 a second location was opened in Idaho Falls, ID and then a 3rd location in Pocatello, ID in 2008. In 2009 Craigo’s found a location in Provo near the University but ran into a problem. The name Craigo’s Pizza was already taken in Utah. So after much searching the name Pizza Pie Café was agreed upon. After opening 2 more locations in Utah the name was changed from Craigo’s Pizza to Pizza Pie Café at all of the Idaho locations. In 2012 Pizza Pie Café opened its first franchise location in Bountiful, UT and has continued to open up franchisees with great operators all throughout Utah, Idaho, Arizona, and Nevada.

I came here with minimal expectations and this place did not disappoint. Everything was terrible, the pizza is not rotated often enough, the pasta was undercooked, the meat sauce was terrible, … In fact, the only way I’d come back is if I was firefighter and the place was on fire. Anyway, other than that, I’m sure anyone who gives 4 stars is in the friends and family network.

I love this place so much! They have so many different pizzas and their desserts pizzas are very good! They are a little pricey but I work in the mall so I get a mall employee discount. The atmosphere is cool with old bottle caps in the tables and all the employee shirts have different funny sayings on the back. The pasta is good, not too many options so if you come here, come for the pizza and don’t expect great pasta.

So happy they have gluten free! The fresh made pizza is really good.
They have a huge selection of pizzas, including dessert pizzas. Nice basic salad bar. The pasta bar has gluten free pasta too!

This place is great! $ 7.50 for an all you can eat buffet of salad, pasta, pizza, and dessert pizza! I saw they got some bad reviews, but it’s because people don’t understand how to get the most out of a place like this.
My advice:
Grab whatever’s fresh! The fresh pizzas taste delicious, it’s the ones that have been sitting out that taste no good.
Try the firefighter pizza. That’s my favorite.
For dessert pizzas the ones with more toppings tend to taste better (instead of the flat ones).

Pizza buffet was good. Great selection of pizza which they keep coming quickly. Especially like the buffalo chicken. Pasta was good as well. Servers come by regularly to bus tables. No complaints, good experience and good pizza.

I write this post as I sit on the toilet regretting my decision to succumb to the insistent pleas from my children to eat at the Pizza Pie Café. I feel like I am getting punched in the gut over and over again as I moan and curl over. If only I could get in the fetal position. Please make it stop!!! The pain and misery I am experiencing only makes the mediocre food experience more regrettable. To get sick on top of it!!! Ughhhhh! Save yourself and your family the misery. Was it the Thousand Island dressing or the BBQ chicken pizza? I guess I will never know as I will never go back.

This is a Salad, Pizza, Pasta & Dessert Pizza Buffet !!! Food was very fresh and flavorful ! Lots to choose from. The place was pretty busy and the employee’s were on top of everything… keeping the food coming & clearing tables ASAP !!! It is located near Dillard’s in the mall. I WILL be back !!!
