Decent store. Slow as can be workers. OMGosh I don’t think these people could ring slower. I was told it was their computer systems but, geeze! It’s the 21^st century people! Came here semi against my will on Thanksgiving Thursday. Wasn’t gonna shop on that day, don’t care about deals but, everyone in the house was going so I went. I did get a 60 $ pressure cooker for 10 $ with a 10 $ rebate. It was quite amazing! My boyfriend a free polo style shirt with his 10 $ voucher. We had a good time and only spent about an hour waiting in line and checking out but, it was all good I guess. As usually everyone was pleasant cuz we are in St George, not where I’m used to in California. So I did appreciate the more hospitable environment of this particular store.

This is the smallest Penny’s I’ve ever seen, the selection is crap, the clothes are hideous and just all over… its terrible.
A few bright spots though: the men’s department (not junior men’s, men’s) is okay, ‘livable’ would be the word. The lingerie section is again passable but barely. The salon is on the same ‘meh’ level.
However: every time I’ve been in here (because I’ve been forced to go by family) the staff is truly fantastic. In all departments (except men’s…go figure) they’re quite helpful, courteous and kind. The salon is particularly so and despite fears that they couldn’t be that good based on how crappy and small this Pennys is, they cut my sister’s hair and did a fantastic job.
The other day when in my niece accidentally broke a coffee pot display, something she cried and felt bad for. I squirmed nervously feeling guilty and like a nuisance, sure they’d give me that ‘control your damn kid’ look and possibly make me pay for it. Instead the three women who helped us (and I have no clue what department they were generally in) were very kind, very understanding, and didn’t demand a thing.
If Penny’s corporate could make the quality and quantity of clothing less shitty I’d shop here based on the customer service alone. They are really outstanding.
