Mizu Teppanyaki & Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Excellent service didn’t expect to have such an amazing time with my family in the restaurant but we all did. Our waitress was on top of everything. The sushi was so good

Mizu is a delicious hibachi restaurant in the heart of St. Cloud. I always go here for lunch as the lunch prices are around $ 10, when dinner prices are around $ 16. I have ordered the NY strip hibachi meal, more times than I can count, and it is always perfect! This past weekend, I ordered salmon hibachi. I was nervous to try it out, as I was not sure if the fish would be fresh or cooked properly. No need to worry! The salmon was super fresh, seasoned just right and cooked to order. I loved it! My husband ordered the seared scallops and those were great as well! During lunch, you get soup, salad, vegetables, rice and the meat of your choice. If you want noodles (only included with the dinner portion), you can add them on for $ 4 more. It’s a large portion, so I shared it with my husband. They do not charge extra to split a side of noodles, like some other hibachi restaurants do. We also ordered the «VIP Philadelphia Roll» from their sushi bar. WOW! It has spicy salmon, cream cheese, avocado, scallions and spicy mayonnaise, then fried tempura style. The fried melted the cream cheese and avocado… it was just beyond amazing! The roll had 8 pieces and was $ 7. Worth every penny! I am never disappointed with Mizu. It is consistently delicious. Definitely a gem in St. Cloud!

Honestly… We love Mizu! There are a lot of mixed reviews about this place, but I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food is consistently great. The servers are all super friendly. We come here maybe once every 6 – 8 weeks (so 6 times a year or so?) and they remember us! More cost effective than Kobe with awesome food and right in the middle of town!
I will say this, their sushi bar does get backed up a lot, but they are great about letting you know when they’re running behind.

I didn’t know what to expect but this place is so freaking amazing!!! Service was a little slow but my server was so sweet & respectful that I will be back again’n
Anywho, sushi was fresh & prepared very well. The teppan grill was close but their ventilation was strong that you can barely see any smoke coming off the flat top.
This place was full for teppan. The sushi bar wad small but it was full with me & 3 other guests who ordered a bunch of food. Definitely a place to try.
