Gold’s Gym was create back in 1965 out of Venice Beach, California with the intention of bringing a health club that would allow people of all fitness levels to have a chance to workout and build a healthier lifestyle. Now, Gold’s Gym is offered in 22 countries with over 3 million members. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Gold’s Family right here in St. Cloud, Florida.

I started my first location in the Washington Metropolitan area named Iron Works Gym in 1985. With $ 5,000 cash advances from three Gold credit cards and $ 10,000 in cash that I had saved, I partnered up with a friend that put up $ 25,000. With that $ 50,000 we opened a 5,000 sqft Ironworks Gym. As you might well imagine even in 1985 it was a monumental task to open a facility with only $ 50,000. We had to do almost all the work ourselves — it was the only way we could afford to get it done.

Today, I am an owner in 6 Gold’s Gyms in FL and one in Alexandria, VA. My passion is to provide every person with the ultimate fitness experience with the cleanest facilities, friendliest staff and best equipment.
