Nice park for walking/hiking with heavily wooded areas along the Fox River. It’s connected via the foot/bike bridge across the river to the Jon J. Duerr park, which is also quite nice and that other park has picnic areas along with extensive biking paths. This park has 1 handicap-accessible port-a-potty in the parking lot, should you need it. The paths vary from wider and easy to narrow dirt(or muddy, depending on the recent weather) paths that wind up and down hills. There are a lot of paths that aren’t on the posted map at the entrance but it’s small enough you shouldn’t really lose your way for long. We explored the whole park and it took us an hour. You could certainly make a day or afternoon of it if you visit both this park and the Jon J. Duerr park on the other side of the river it is connected to.
