Don’t mistake «experience» for professionalism, style or talent. I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding where the bride and groom used studio 3 productions. My main gripe is with Chris, the photographer, because I am a professional photographer as well. For starters, within 15 minutes of starting he made several rude comments about how he is a «real» photographer, but there are lots of «FAUXtographers» out there. Little did he know that two of the bridesmaids were successful and reputable wedding photographers in other states. SO unprofessional! Neither of us said anything, but I would never knock other photographers when talking with my clients. He laughed hysterically at himself while the rest of us stood there chuckling awkwardly and it was just really bad. I totally get that there are photographers out there that have no idea what they’re doing. The ironic part is that HE is one of those photographers! With all due respect to his many years of experience, I lost count of the many technical and stylistic mistakes he made that day. His equipment selection for the circumstances was quite bizarre, his pose suggestions were totally stuff and unnatural, he set up an ugly backdrop for 80s-​prom type photos during the reception, and the locations he chose to shoot were frankly not aesthetically pleasing at all. I had a pretty good idea of what the pictures would look like, and a quick visit to his website totally confirmed my prediction. I don’t think he edits the photos at all.
To be fair, I think some people would be really happy with this guy. My guess is that he started in the industry 25 years ago and hasn’t updated his training or style at all in that time. If you like posed, traditional type wedding photos then this might be the photographer for you. If you’re looking for more natural, modern, «Pinterest”-type photos, look elsewhere. The photographer is the only person that can make the day last forever, and you will be sorely disappointed with this guy.
For the record, I’m not local. So there’s no motive for me to knock this guy other than really wanting people to be happy their wedding photos!

Really disappointed with the photo booth. Every single photo strip was printed with the wrong wedding date! My husband and I just celebrated our one year anniversary and we pulled out the disc with all the photo booth strips. We noticed that every single photo has the wrong date! We weren’t able to keep a strip on the day and now, a year later, I doubt I will get any refund. Just disgusted !

I’m putting this review out here because the company is now, (7 years later) disputing the review on other sites and I feel people should know about what happened. This is from a wedding in June 2006, my review from the

We contracted with Studio 3 Productions for our wedding. We were highly disappointed with the services of the DJ. To begin, we feel she didn’t show up early enough to set up. If she had, she would have been able to find our CD of our ceremony music in time to start the ceremony. Regardless, she didn’t have the CD when we were ready to start. She found it and got everything started, but I feel that the ceremony started late because of this. She then played the wrong song for our entrance and introduction as a married couple, called our Best Man the wrong name when introducing him to give his speech (which happened to be the name of his brother serving in Iraq at the time) and then called the groom’s mother the bride’s mother’s name for the mother/​son dance. Our first dance song was ruined by DJ tripping over the power cord and shutting down the audio equipment in the middle of the dance, and overall, I feel that the services provided by this Dj and her company were absolutely terrible. Attempts to rectify the situation have led to nothing.
The company was completely unwilling to work out any satisfactory solution. Would avoid at all costs!

I wish I could give negative stars. We used them for our wedding video. The owner was training someone and we could hear all his instructions throughout the video. There was no footage of my father walking me down the aisle or my cousin singing Ave Maria. I called in an attempt to get a partial refund and I was told no and «not every video can be our best work».

I had them for our wedding and what a huge disappointment they were to us! No talent — no unusual photos, just unnatural stiff poses of family members/​wedding party standing side by side. And the pre-​wedding photos and poses they wanted were so fake and unnatural… like bride looking lovingly at her bouquet… I could barely keep a straight face… as I clearly told him I didn’t want «corny» shots. And the video was a disaster! They shot the entire ceremony from the back of my husband’s head so you never see his expression at while doing our vows. There was a backup camera… ummmm…but it is only used if the first camera goes out/​battery dies, thus the second camera was not running to get another angle. To top things off, the dumb shit photographer left his equipment in the aisle of the church for one of my older guests (a 75 year old aunt) to trip over which delayed the wedding ceremony while people were attending to her injuries. Seriously? You call this company professional? No apologies, no accepting their errors, no discount on the video. I didn’t even go back for the photos they took as I am so upset with their unprofessionalism. To think the money that was doled out to pay for pictures and videography that I am so unhappy with. I am thinking of filing a law suit…

we trusted this company as wedding professionals highly recommended online for my daughters big day… big mistake!
We specifically asked for some fun, artsy pics and gave examples. We were assured this is what they do and we did not need to worry they knew exactly what to do .
however, we did not get the poses we asked for and received unedited unprofessional pics I spent hours trying to make look decent!
650.00 later family and friends ask who took the pics why didn’t you hire a pro?
so sad there is no repeat of these major moments of her wedding day
they are not returning our calls and have nothing to say about our experience and disappointment
do not use them there are many other choices available
