If I could give NEGATIVE STARS, I would! The most TERRIBLE customer service we’ve ever seen! Our salesman, Dino, was GREAT and we genuinely feel bad for the guy because he has to work with Jeff (the used car manager). Jeff was SO pushy and rude! There were multiple things wrong with the car and we were told they would be fixed… why weren’t they fixed BEFORE you guys put it on the lot?! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!
Stinks for them because we went down the street to DuPage Jeep and ended up buying a BRAND NEW Wrangler! BEWARE OF THIS JEEP DEALER!

When I decided to buy a new car I expected it to be like what you see on TV. Based on how the media portrays car salesmen, and the entire car purchasing experience, I anticipated a struggle. I thought some pushy sales guy was going to approach me, thinking he had me all figured out, pressure me into making a purchase and then talk down to me if I wasn’t willing to sign on his offer. Turns out, I could not have been more wrong.
I honestly never thought that a car dealership would be invoke such warm feelings of joy, euphoria and comfort. If you’re like me and you enter a car dealership expecting the worst, then do yourself a favor and check out St. Charles Jeep next time you need a car. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. In fact you may even be surprised when you find how they are challenging the conventional car buying experience with their knowledge, compassion and understanding.
The salesman that took care of me, Kyle, was amazing! He was extremely down to earth, friendly, honest and truly made this stressful, long, daunting process feel like a breeze. I had an idea as to what I was looking for but I wouldn’t have found it without all of his help. Kyle respected my needs and limitations and did not push or pressure me towards anything other than what I wanted (like you often see car salesmen do on TV). Based on these parameters he helped me explore all of my options and didn’t give up until we found the PERFECT car for me! And, more importantly, for a great price!
The vehicle I ended up with was a stick shift and, well, let’s just say it had been quite a while since I had driven stick. I was nervous at first, worried that he would judge me if I couldn’t pick it back up right away. Instead Kyle went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with the car, even going as far as to provide me with a bit of a refresher course on how to drive manual.
Throughout it all he seemed genuinely invested in how I was feeling. I could tell that he wasn’t just trying to sell me a car, but making sure that I loved the car before making any commitments. I was grateful for his patience and understanding and allowing me as much time as I needed before making such a big purchase. By the time I signed the papers I knew without a doubt I was making the right choice. Had I been rushed into it I doubt I would’ve felt as confident. I’ve been driving my new car for about a week now and I couldn’t be happier!
The entire experience was so pleasant and comfortable, it felt like I was buying a car from an old friend. There was very little pressure and fair negotiating. From the porters to the finance manager, the entire staff was very welcoming and friendly. One manager in particular, Sam, was extremely helpful throughout the process. I guess you could say that I can be a bit «high maintenance» at times, but Sam stepped in with elegance and grace treated me both respectfully and professionally until we were able to come to a deal we were both happy with. I can not say enough about the staff at this dealership, this is the fourth Jeep my family has bought from this dealership and we will defiantly continue to be loyal customers!

If I could give 0 stars for this place I would, we were there for 45 minutes never even made it into a car! Horrible service, a complete joke!

Everyone I spoke to was friendly, from Edmund to Manny to Sam. Things took a bit, but I kept going in during their busiest times. They located the car I was looking for, and we came to a deal I felt was very fair. Sam, the sales manager, even let me hang on to a car they had in inventory until my car arrives next week. I still have to go in for more paperwork and to pick up the car once they receive it from another dealership, so the experience isn’t done yet, but so far so good! I will update once it’s all said and done!

Horrible experience at St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram… young salesman nice as could be but new to the dealership… explained that he could only talk to us if we are very interested buyers (which we went in there for), asked what it would take to make the sale we told him the right price. He came to us with the sticker ($ 29+K) who pays sticker price? We said that was not what we were looking for as we saw ad in the paper from their dealership for the same car advertised at $ 24K. He explained the advertised price is with all incentives… so if I’m not active military or a dairy farmer I would not qualify for the advertised price. Wish they would have noted that in the paper. Would have saved me three hours of my time. After arguing the case, the finance manager Derek Webb came over, talked down to us like we were crazy to expect them to ever come down from sticker price, had a bunch of obnoxious comments, lied about the advertised price (which we had printed out), after talking to the creep for less than 5 minutes we actually walked out. Why spend your hard earned money at a place that does not treat customers nicely? Never again St Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram… your loss I about a car the next weekend and referred three friends so far to Crystal Lake Jeep, those are quality sales people. St. Charles you should take lessens from them…

Don’t go here! We test drove a used car and were in negotiations. They had even countered when all of a sudden the car was sold. Someone had put money down last night. They just didn’t want to deal with us because we asked to see the service records. I wouldn’t trust anyone here. The used cars sales manager, Jeff was so rude.

Went in for a car on their website advertised as pre-​owned certified listed at $ 11,800. They came back with a final offer of $ 15,568. That is with the TTL but what they don’t tell you is the «certification check» isn’t included so you have to pay an additional $ 1,750. Which brings you to the total of $ 15,568. Advertise the car at $ 13,550 if that is the case, going to Carmax in the morning to get an almost identical model for the 11,899. Staff was very nice though and tried to work deal out but it just wasn’t happening.
I’ve bought many many cars and I’m used to the tacked on fees, which always get waived but to see $ 1,750 is a little insane. I really recommend calling ahead if it is a little bit of a commute for you to go here as I’m sure this is a common practice for them.
e: Just looked car has been on the lot for 225 days.

Horrible experience. This was the usual car dealership bait and switch. We’ve been pre-​approved for a loan from an outside source so we called ahead to make sure they had the vehicle that we wanted in stock. As we live about 45 minutes away. Spoke with the sales person over the phone with all the specific details and a price point we were shooting for. She gave her time to arrive and when the vehicle would be ready for us. Upon our arrival we were passed off to a different sales person. Which would not have been a big deal had he not started in with the questions about what we were looking for. We explained this was all mapped out over the phone and that the vehicle would be waiting. When he found out what we were looking for he went to pull up the car. To find out it was not the right color or other options would ask for. Then came out of the showroom with a piece of paper asked if this is what we were looking for and told us he did not have it on the lot. At which point we walked away

Randy in service has been very nice and receptive to the minor issues on my new jeep renegade. He has followed thru every time something was needed. The purchase was pretty decent as a car transaction goes.

Cars, you can’t live with them sometimes, and you definitely can’t live without them. Well, at least not here in the Midwest, you can’t. We came here after searching on «Car Gurus» for a secondary vehicle for our family. We called the dealership to let them know we would be looking at the Toyota they had in their lot. The woman I spoke with was really friendly and said they would pull the car from the lot to the front to be ready for us when we arrived. When we arrived I inquired of the woman I spoke with on the phone. She came out and said that Dino would be taking care of us as she only handles their online assets. We told Dino of the car we were interested in (it had NOT been brought to the front as previously promised.) Dino could not locate the vehicle. We watched him walk up and down their lot. Literally ten minutes passed. Obviously he didn’t know their inventory. When he brought the car up we started our inspection and wanted to take is for a test drive. I have never been to a dealership where the salesman comes with you for the test drive. Awkward, very awkward. Isn’t that why they take your driver’s license? He even told us the route to take. We had wanted to take it on the highway to get it to a speed to test the struts. Dino encouraged us on a 40 mph road to bring it to 55 or 60 because ‘there are no cops around.’ Unprofessional. When we arrived back at the lot we started our negotiations. The timing belt hadn’t been done and the hood had a fair amount of scratches. That was the least of our battles-​the gas door required two people to open and the timing belt had yet to be done as per recommended by Toyota. We offered a price. Dino then went to get another salesman. We offered the same price. We were waiting and waiting. Then Dino comes in the office and tells us he has brought up a Mitsubishi. A. We didn’t come to see a Mitsubishi B. I didn’t ask for another car. As far as I knew they were still working on my offer I gave them. In the meantime we heard VERY loud yelling coming from one of the office managers, to a client might I add. Yikes. He said something along the lines of,”…I’m trying to do everything possible for you!!” Unprofessional sir, very unprofessional. The other salesman came back and said they had declined our offer. Which, given the show I just had, I was okay with declining business at this establishment.
We found a fair deal at «My Choice Motors «in Elmhurst instead and Fahed was excellent!

I had a horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone. The impression I left with is that the site is not run by reputable people.
I bought a vehicle in early December and the salesman knew less about the vehicle’s features than I did. They also forgot to physically transfer the license plates from my trade-​in to the new vehicle until I caught it.
Six weeks later, I received a phone call from Derek Webb in Finance claiming that there was a problem with the check I left for a down payment and that he can take my credit card number over the phone. Not only did I not leave a check, he was unable to explain the
discrepancy. In fact, I did not receive any documentation until I persisted. During the entire incident, he was unapologetic, made no effort to explain their mistake, and continuously applied pressure and tough talk to get me to give a credit card number.
Throughout the entire experience, the staff only put forth effort when money was on the line. To correct any of their mistakes, I had to put in the work.

Terrible service department and unethical sales department. Have purchased two new vehicles from this dealership. Won’t be back.

Stay clear of this place. I’m not one to call someone a name, so with that said The General Manager Alex is the lowest of the low. He is known for screwing over customers. Check the reviews for the dealership he worked at before (Arlington Heights Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram) He is all about making money and doesn’t care at all about the customer. He will tell you a car is on the lot, knowing the car is not. He will tell you a car’s price, knowing that when you go to do the paperwork, he will raise the price up. He lies about everything to get the sale. But once you sign on the dotted line, he no longer cares what you think.
He told me to my face, «I’m in the business to make money»

I bought 2 2015 Durango R/T’s from the dealer. Had issues but worked through them. That’s not what this review is about.
NOW to the service department… the service writers are completely ignorant & rude. First time they didn’t do the write up correctly and some stuff wasn’t fixed.
Today I went for an oil change. Parked outside and walked in with my 6 month old baby. They opened the door to let someone drive in because where I was parked I couldn’t pull in. Once it was my turn I walked up and I told RANDY I needed an oil change. He asked if the car inside is mine and I said no, I’m parked outside. He said the other guy is next and I’ll have to wait. At that point I lost it and walked out. The younger service writer came running out and said I can take care of you now. I said no and I’m done with this dealership. I asked him 4 times for the name of the guy I was dealing with. Finally he said Randy and I left.
Never have a had such a bad experiences with a service department. If the GM or owner are wondering why they have such poor reviews they need to address their personnel issues and look for new folks. I am going back to DuPage dodge and I regret not buying my two Durangos from there. Spending $ 100,000 at a business should have more respect for the customer.

Made an appointment to get my tire fixed. They were ordering a replacement since they didn’t have one in stock.
I sat for an hour only for them to tell me they ordered the wrong tire. Ugh.
I went to the manager of the dealership, as my car is 2 weeks old and this is the 4^th time I had it in. I asked what I should do, now that I have a flat tire and the service department ordered the wrong one.
HE OFFERED ME A FREE CARWASH!!! Wish I was joking, but this is an absolutely true story.
Leave with a flat tire, come back when we can figure out how to order tires, and here’s a free car wash.
What a tool.
How about offering me a rental so I don’t have to drive on a flat and they keep my car until they get the right tire.
How about taking a tire off of another jeep on the lot and replacing that one.
How about treating me like a human instead of like a sucker for having bought a car there.
NEVER AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY A VEHICLE FROM THAT DEALERSHIP.

Try NOT to go to the St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership. They sold me a car without the wheel lock key (had no idea what that was or that that was even a feature on my vehicle) and upon discovering this I returned, needing them to take the lock off. I needed jiffy lube to do an inspection on my vehicle (required by Über) that required those wheels off. Dealership proceeded to tell me they will order the key for 60 bucks OR take the lock off with their master key and replace the 4 locks with lug nuts for 70 bucks!
So I went to the local auto parts store and bought them for 10 bucks instead. Went back to the dealership thinking they’d snap em on… not without a LABOR FEE of 25 bucks!!!
I understand that they run a business but HELL… really??? Considering the circumstances they couldn’t put lug nuts on there without an inflated fee?
Yep…nope…not coming back here for a DAMN THING!!!

My wife and I came in to look at a used SUV. As we pull to the front of the store we see a salesman smoking while on his phone. I’m hoping he doesn’t say anything to us as he would wreak of cigarette smoke. He didn’t and we browsed the lot looking for the SUV. Meh, my wife and I thought looking at each other as the body had a lot of dings and dents. We continue walking around when we hear someone screaming at us «DO YOU GUYS NEED ANY HELP?». My wife looked up confused. «No. thanks» we replied. It was the gentleman smoking his cigarette. Apparently, he thought it was proper to scream if we needed help instead of coming over to introduce himself. We left the used lot and went over to the new cars. My impression of the dealer instantly changed when Edmond introduced himself. Extremely knowledgeable of the inventory and clearly understood our needs. Unfortunately, we could not work out a deal on a car my wife wanted. After meeting with Sam, we decided to walk away. No deal.
Fast forward a couple days, my wife wants to go back in to look at a different vehicle. We call ahead to make sure Edmond is there. After a few test drives she found the one and we walked out with a brand new Jeep. Overall, the experience was great. I wanted to give this 4 stars however the gentleman who was smoking left a sour taste in my mouth. Edmond was great and I hope you have the pleasure working with him.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! It is quite telling that 10 of the 13 reviews on here are 1-​Star reviews. Now ¹¹⁄₁₄. One user describes this place as «sleezy», which I will not disagree with. I would call the people who work here, led by manager Alex, RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Please take your business down the street.

I wanted to give a quick review of this dealership.
I own a 2013 dodge dart and originally brought my car in for a quick oil change. after picking up the car a couple hours later I started experiencing electrical problems to the point where my entire dash and u-​connect system would flicker until finally losing power and then have to restart. I called dodge and made an appointment to bring my car in to have it get looked at. When I arrived I explained what happened to someone who acted like they could care less and was then asked to stand over to the side and wait for a minute. After a good long wait someone noticed me and asked why I was standing over there to the man who asked me to wait. He said he had no idea who I was or why I was here and I had to re-​explain myself and why I was there. I was told this would only take a day and to wait in their service center but I explained I already scheduled to take a rental due to my work schedule. I am extremely glad I decided to book a rental because Dodge ended up keeping my car for 11 days. During that time I called daily to find out the status of my car but every time I called no one could give me an answer or I was told the man working on my car was on lunch and would get a call back but the call never came. I also reached out to the manager and dealership via email trying to get an answer and explaining my frustration but never got a response. In the 11 days they had my car I even had to swap rentals because the first car they gave me was so filthy and smelled so bad that I couldn’t stand to be in the car.
I guess the problem was a bad radio module that needed to be replaced. I asked why a 2013 would already have a bad module but my answer was the mechanic looking at me and shrugging his shoulders. He said he really couldn’t tell me why which is pretty annoying after keeping my car for almost 2 weeks. I don’t build Dodges for a living so I’m no professional but it I don’t think a computer module in a 2013 should already be going bad for an unknown reason.
On day 11 I decided to go into the dealership and see if my car was finished and ready to pick up. It was, but when I picked up my car it was left dirty and had mud on the rugs which was extremely annoying.
I have never had such horrible customer service. It is very frustrating to have a dealership keep your car for 11 days with no explanation why and no communication. Especially when there is a bill with my name on it at the end of it all. I am completely turned off from Dodge after this experience and will not be giving them my business in the future. I recommend you don’t either.
