I moved yesterday with the temperature hitting 100 degrees. I was concerned with their wellbeing because of the heat, but they remained professional, courteous, and friendly. I was very impressed, Kudos to Junior, Brandon, and LaRon. They were truly awesome and I appreciated all they did for me. And the price was right. I found the entire experience from making the appointment to the actual move to be very professionally handled.
I will definitely use Rent A Vet again and recommend them to friends, family, and co-​workers. Keep up the good work, guys!

I hired Rent A Vet for my recent move. There were three men that showed up to work. All three were helpful and had pleasant attitudes, even though it felt like 100 degrees outside. They were time efficient, amazingly organized, professional, and took amazing care of my furniture. Everything was wrapped with care and arrived at my place spotless. I have no complaints, I would use this company again in a heart beat. Amazing service for the price.

They were very affordable, polite, careful and quick! We will use them for moves in the future.

I would highly recommend Rent a Vet. They showed up on time and we’re very courteous and careful with all of my items. Excellent service, highly recommended! We had a cross-​town move on 10 June that involved moving the contents of a storage unit and two 16-​foot PODs into a two story house. The day of the move was the hottest most humid day of the year. The crew arrived on time and as promised and worked quickly and carefully to accomplish the task. We were very impressed with the service and will be sure to use them again should we move… hopefully a long, long time from now!

I hired Rent a Vet for labor-​only moving services. I needed a team to help unload a pod and to assemble some furniture. Frank, Andrew, and Brandon did a phenomenal job – they got an entire 16 foot pod unloaded and assembled several beds in only 2 hours, for a very reasonable price. They were great to work with and I would definitely use them again. Highly recommended!

We used Rent A Vet on 5÷15÷2016 to move from Richmond Heights to Creve Couer. These guys are AWESOME!!! I can genuinely say they take the stress out of moving. We worked with a crew of three — Mr Junior, Mr Matthew, & Mr Jerome. They were efficient, polite, helpful, & when I was about to loose my sanity, Mr. Matthew became a quasi councilor & helped me glue myself back together. The crew was on time & when faced with challenges they demonstrated a customer-​first attitude. I have recommended them already to friends & family and recommend them to anyone who reads this.

Overall, this my second time using movers and I must say it was much better than the last! Rent A Vet is a wonderful company top to bottom. I called THE DAY BEFORE and Frank was able to give me a time slot on Friday, one of the busiest moving days. It was such a life saver for someone who waited so last minute!
Their prices are great for how awesome of a job they do. There is a minimum though, so keep that in mind for smaller jobs!
They gave me a few hour window but showed up well within the first hour before giving me ample notice.
The day before Frank had told me only two of his guys would be able to come (likely because I waited so late), but Frank came as well to help. I got 3 for the price of 2! All 3 were courteous and friendly. They worked hard and did not take their sweet time as many movers do.
They moved exactly what I told them and dismantled large furniture as well. They took extra care to wrap everything as to not damage my items.
They unloaded all my belongings just as smoothly and set up everything as I expected.
The best display of this company’s greatness is when something went wrong. A screw to my bed frame went missing during the move and Frank personally went to the store to get a new one, without taking up hourly time. You can’t ask for better customer treatment than that!
Payment was smooth (cash or card) and I got my receipt right away.
If you’re moving in the STL area I would highly recommend these guys. At least give them a ring to get a quote. There’s a reason so many people are vouching for them!

This was our first time hiring movers. We had no idea what to expect. They made our move from St Charles to South City quick, easy and painless. All of the movers were friendly and personable. Their pricing was right on target!
I will definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future!

I recently needed movers to help me move a bedroom set for my mom to her new place. They were on time and charged me exactly what they said they would. They worked efficient and well, not damaging my property or furniture!!! They were super nice guys and I’ll def be using them again!

We called these guys really last minute for a move and they were awesome! Really efficient, fast and nice. The owner even refused a tip. Would definitely recommend!

I hired Rent A Vet for an in town move, and they did great. I got three guys and a truck, and they worked quickly to load all my stuff, drive across town, and unload it. They took less time than they had estimated they would, so I paid less than I thought I was going to have to.

I very highly recommend these movers! They packed a Relocube for me and did it very quickly and efficiently IN 50 minutes!!! Yes, 50 minutes!!! We asked them if they could fit my things into one cube to save me the extra $ 900 of a second cube and they worked so hard to fit it all in-​and DID! They filled every nook and cranny so that literally no space was spared. I noticed that while 2 men moved, the third man wrapped and prepared the things, which made it flow faster. Aside from being hard-​working, they were so nice and FUNNY and as you know, moving is very stressful. It was so good to laugh, relax, and let these guys handle things. I highly recommend them! I also recommend supporting our vets in this way!

Let me start by saying how much I despise moving and also how terrible my family is at teamwork. When I needed someone to move all our stuff I sent out some messages and some emails, and guess what Frank was the only business that physically called me. For starters that made me feel like I was important cause he took time out of his busy schedule to talk to me rather than send out a generic email. Next I wanted to support a business that gives back to our community and supports those who sacrificed for our country. When moving day arrived they were on time and able to accept the many challenges that arrive when moving into a loft downtown. We could not have moved without you guys. We appreciate your hard work and want to thank you again for making our lives a little less stressful.

I don’t often write reviews… but.
I hired Rent A Vet Movers to do my move. Frank (the owner) responded directly to me, the pricing was competitive, but most importantly he had ‘grit’. That intangible ‘get it done’ attitude combined with a focus on supporting veterans had me sold. But I’ve had some bad experiences before even with the high end moves I’ve done cross country with Bekins etc. So I was hopeful, but cautious.
Frank was previously in the Air Force, like many folks he lost his job in the private sector a couple years ago in the downturn. So he hopped on craigslist and did whatever it took to work hard and get by. Now he’s growing, has a real business underneath his feet, and as you’ll see cares about his reputation and the quality of his work.
This is not a story about how everything went perfect, those are easy. This is a story about how a properly wrapped and blanketed piano still managed to snap a leg off of it. You guys know how I feel about my instruments. Every one of them has a history. Businesses are defined more by how they react when something goes wrong than when something goes right.
First, the guys were super apologetic, and felt horrible, but made no attempt to deflect blame. They rang up Frank, explained what happened, and Frank made it right immediately. He went above and beyond anything I expected or asked for. It wasn’t 18 claim forms and weeks of discussions. It was a notation on a form and a signature done on the spot.
It’s moving, things happen. No matter my sentimental attachment to something. So if you’re in the St. Louis to Kansas City area, and you need anything from a small item moved around, to full home moves, to carpet cleaning, to clean outs and junk removal. Do *me* a favor and call Frank and his team. You’ll help yourself, you’ll help some vets, and I’ll put my own reputation on Frank any day. In fact, if he needs an investor…
I’ll definitely be using him again. And that’s all you really need to know.

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of having Rent a Vet Movers move all of our furniture from storage into our new home. Jay, Jr., and Donald were great! They were friendly and hard working. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will recommend them to family and friends for sure. Great job, guys!

Had an incredible experience using Rent A Vet.
First of all, you aren’t going to find a better deal. These guys came in, dismantled, moved, and put all of my furniture back together for a flat hourly rate. I called several other moving companies for a quote and Rent A Vet actually cost me a fraction of what I thought that I would end up paying.
Rent A Vet called ahead to let me know that they were en route to my apartment. They arrived approx. 15 minutes after their call time, right at 9 am. They were friendly and moved by furniture into the truck carefully. These guys make it look easy.
When we arrived at my new place we hit some snags as this is a new apartment of which I knew very little. They rolled with the punches no problem, always being courteous and friendly.
The team moved my furniture in about two hours. Everything looks great. If and when I move elsewhere I will absolutely use Rent A Vet and recommend that you should too.

Frank and his team did an amazing job of moving us from St Louis to New Jersey. The day we had scheduled the move, Frank and team arrived on time. There was torrential rain through out the loading period and still they managed to bring all our stuff down three flights of stairs without any hiccups. All the furniture was wrapped in plastic and additionally wrapped in blankets, the bed was dismantled.
At a certain point during the move it looked like the truck the team had may not be enough hold all the items we had and Frank has the presence of mind to make sure he had another truck on standby in case we needed it, showed great presence of mind.
During unloading we had the same excellent experience, everything was moved without any damage, all the furniture was unwrapped, the bed was assembled.
A big shout out to Frank, Matt and Brendan for making this difficult move look easy.
