Not too sure why this place got a bad review. The food was pretty darn good — much more authentic than the other Mexican joints spread around town. You could definitely tell that the ingredients were fresh. The service? It was great! I’m assuming this was because they weren’t very busy. Hopefully things will pick up for them. We need a decent Mexican restaurant in town. I’m getting very tired of cheese-smothered ground«meat» burritos with canned beans and rice. Will I go back? Sure! OH! The margaritas are delicious!

First impression walking into the restaurant, we didn’t see 1 employee or host for a good 5−10min. We were finally seated, and our server didn’t come back for another 10min. for our drink order. We finally gave our drink order, which was mostly water for our group, and that took another 10min for her to come back with those. Our server returned 10min later and took our orders. When our food finally started to come out 1 hour later, it was very sporadic. With the more basic dishes,(tortilla soup, and queso) came out last, and were cold. I ordered a Classic Burrito w/o onions, and when I cut into my food, I cut into a full bite of onions. I pointed this out to our server, and I didn’t even get an appology. Our group of 10 arrived there at 12:30pm for lunch, and left at 2:30pm. Afternoon gone. Very disappointed in our visit. Poor managment. We saw the manager paying more attention to the TV in the dining room, than her customers. I don’t see this restaurant lasting very long.
