I like GoodWill, and this is a really good GoodWill. The women’s clothing is quite well organized– organized both by color and by size. The quality is also pretty good. There are a lot of mall brands along the lines of H&M, American Eagle, Gap, Forever 21, and of course you will always see plenty of new with the tag Target brand stuff. There’s just very little real junk– most everything is in like-new condition. Nothing too used or dated in a bad way. I mean, this is still GoodWill. You will have to search through the racks to find something you want. I think the earlier review comparing this GoodWill to Marshall’s is apt. The men’s clothing selection wasn’t as large as I’m used to however. My husband is usually finished looking at it pretty quickly and doesn’t always find anything he wants. So even though I feel bad for making my husband sit around or look at kitschy mugs while I look through the huge selection of women’s clothing, I pretty much will always be stopping at this GoodWill when I’m in town, which is about once a year. And to clarify, I only feel bad for making my husband look at the kitschy mugs because you inevitably see an awesome mug that you need because it’s only a dollar, and we can’t get it because mugs don’t travel well.

One of the better Goodwills, and I should know! Clean, well organized, and I walked out with a decent clothing haul both times I came here. I was tickled by the almost new«Goonies» DVD for $ 1.99. I loves me some Sloth.

I give this store 4– stars — surprising NOT necessarilly for the merchandise or content they sell. First off, I’ll just state the obvious. MOST of the stuff in this store is junk. That is why it ends up there. For example, the vinyl record section(for 99 cents), 99% or better odds you are not going to find any record worth anything in the section — they are all beat and scratched to hell, and the selection of what’s there is — well — that’s why they are there. Records nobody wants anymore or by artists or compilations most people could care less about. And as I mentioned, the condition of most of them basically makes them un-playable, and probably not worth 5 cents let alone 99 cents. (HOWEVER, I mentioned the 99% odds. That being said, once in a great while, I HAVEFOUND some vinyls in good condition, and that would fit my collection! It’s rare, but it does happen. With stores like this, you really have to just take your time and rummage through everything. GEMSCANBEFOUND!) As far as most of the other merchandise — like I described above, a majority of it is garbage. Most of the electronics stuff is broken, beat to hell, very old and obsolete(can be cool though for collectors, or for those seeking parts for stuff), or just has no way for you to test it to see if it really works. There are indeed outlets to test plug some stuff in, but that alone doesn’t give the full scope as to if many of these items work. There is more to most electronic stuff than if just the power light alone goes on. I said ‘majority’ above, not ‘everything’, though. There is an old saying though that one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure. AGAINTHOUGH, you can find some gems here! No joke! You CAN find(it all depends, you REALLYHAVETOSPENDTIMELOOKING, and it also depends just when you are in the store — it’s all chance) some decent shirts, and little nick-nacks. Sometimes you can find some real cool CHEAP(and nice quality!) holiday nick-nacks for say Halloween or Christmas! I have also found little shin-dings for my fish-tank, picture frames, and even a perfect condition bread-maker and little electric stove. Again, it all depends, and you just have to really spend the time looking. Other positives about this place — at least for me, include: — Employees are usually friendly and helpful. — Store is a nice avenue for donating stuff you no longer want that you just want to get rid of, without having to deal with garage sales or throwing out stuff that may be of some value to somebody else. Plus, they give you tax receipts. — Its a cool place to just look around if you have time to burn. You never know what you can get for 3 – 4 dollars that might make a world of difference in your house. 4 out of 5 stars.

I come here often. Clean and organized and cheap. Sometimes I find something good or leave empty-handed. It’s always worth a look, considering such low prices. I’ve had luck finding good books here and for cheap. I also have good luck with picture frames here. I just got married and bought an enormous glass frame for wedding photos here… $ 1.98 with 15% off on top of that. There are tons of bread machines in the kitchen supplies section. I would bet the motors are burnt out in all of them. Bread machines suck. They are decked out with Halloween decorations and costumes right now, so check it out if you need some cheap Halloween stuff to decorate your house or wear out. They have a few packaged costumes and wigs, makeup, etc. There are lots of interesting clothes placed in the front being advertised as Halloween clothing.

I briefly became interested in «thrifting» after reading several fashion blogs in which I saw amazing thrift store finds. However, life does not always imitate art, and I was left incredibly disappointed. I guess I’m just not meant to be a Good Will shopper. I’ve frequented several of their stores, and never found anything even relatively appealing. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I am an elitist(at least according to Unilocal!), but I just don’t see the point. Everything here is decent for those looking to find clothing for their children or maybe themselves if they’re planning on wearing it once or for costume purposes. Generally, I just find it ridiculous because anything designer is probably 100 years old, with nasty hairspray stains from 1986… or it’s beat up, old Target stuff. Now, I’m not knocking anyone for not wanting to spend a lot… but there are just a lot of affordable options comparable to Good Will. Also, if you’re buying something old and worn, you’re getting that much LESS use out of it, so you may as well spend an extra $ 5 and buy new from Target. Although they’re being given the merchandise, they’re not giving anything away. I prefer to donate to Cancer Federation where they do not charge the recipients for the merchandise either.

The store is clean and well organized. I’ve taken my step daughter to this location and we’ve found a few great items i.e., $ 57 for Mankind jeans, $ 5 A&F jeans and a Juicy Couture t-shirt. The prices are decent. Sundays and Mondays are half off and if you sign up for their club card you get 5% off your purchase of $ 20, something like that. I’m sure you can find cheaper prices at Village Disount but Goodwill is a little bit cleaner.

I don’t even feel like going to Goodwills are like going to thrift stores anymore. Goodwill branded carts, bags, end caps. This one seemed like a Marshall’s light. I walked in and saw the cash registers and it reminded me of a Marshall’s set up. Pretty decent selection of books. Hard covers are 1.59 which is not bad. Some pretty decent titles. Well organized and I noticed that they had their pants organized by size which was nice for people looking through versus having to dig and dig. This one seems pretty new and must have just opened. It even smelled good and not dusty and old like some of the other thrift stores.
