Fuji Sushi Buffet is closed and is now open as Charm Thai, which is not a buffet, but still serves sushi. It is now a restaurant instead of a buffet which is too bad.

It’s now a Thai eatery. Went for the first time. Have to say the food was tasty! I had the yellow curry. Good portion size but be warned, you’ll need a coffee afterwards.

They have now added a Hibachi Grill. Lots of ingredients to choose from. Essentially pick what you want in it and give it to the chef to make for you. Chef was very entertaining and my kids couldn’t get enough of him. I want to say that they even lowered the price now?

NOTHANKYOU! My prediction is that this place will shut down soon… similar to all the previous Chinese Buffets that occupied the place before this one! Just to note, my review is from earlier this year. However, it was an dining experience I could not easily forget. Basically the restaurant had a greasy Chinese food buffet and the poorest quality sushi I’ve ever seen. I would have said eaten but I didn’t and couldn’t even eat whole a piece! The sushi was covered in clear plastic wrap and was not properly kept cool. This resulted in poor presentation and warm sushi. The rice was hard and the fish was just questionable… Stay away!

I like this place. There is a ‘coming soon Hibachi Grill’ sign up on their middle bar, but the sushi is always good, decent selection of chinese dishes, the hot sour soup hit the spot today. Good, consistent value. Not high end, so keep expectations low and you will be happy!

It’s pretty much like every chinese buffet out there except they have a better assortment of «sushi». The sushi tastes like the sushi you get at a Dominicks or Costco. The chinese buffet is decent food. If you’re in a rush and don’t want to spend alot, it serves your purpose.

We tried this place once, hoping it would be nice like Nagoya in the Foxvalley. No, we will not come back.

Oh boy… I first saw the signs for this place when I went for a haircut at my barber next door. I’m not that big of a fan of Chinese food any more, but the wife and I love sushi, so I had some curiosity about a Sushi Buffet. When we walked in the door, we should have listened to our heads and not our stomachs. The décor of this place is stark, almost like a high school cafeteria, or maybe some kind of senior living center or something. The buffet steamers are in the rear of the restaurant and while the selection is wide ranging, I had the distinct impression that I was treading on thin ice gastronomically. But we persevered. On the good side, the maki rolls were good and there was a wide range of rolls, from California to Rainbow to Dragon. The nigiri was not as appetizing, with the fish at room temperature… Then there’s a selection of raw meats that you can give the«sushiman» to deep fry for you if you want(seemingly way too close to the cooked stuff), and there are a few Chinese(American-style) dishes like Sesame Chicken, Pepper Beef, etc. Some crab, some«Fried Muscles [sic]», and a lot of your favorite appetizers, like crab rangoon and egg rolls. All of it seemingly at about 50% of normal size. Check out the tiny crab claws! Who got the job of declawing the crayfish? On the bad side, nothing had a lot of taste, other than the wasabi, and the iced tea was just plain nasty. At $ 14 per person, it’s affordable, but there’s more to eating than how much you can get for how little. Right? TIP: During the Grand Opening, every 4th customer is getting HALFOFF.
