Great little place to get some good food. I had the Gyros platter. The platter came with a salad and fries. A lot of food and great Tzatziki sauce, worth the price.
My wife had the the Southwest Chicken sandwich and it was good size piece of chicken.
She did not notice that it had Buffalo sauce on it, so that part she was not a fan. It is a little weird to have Buffalo sauce on a southwest sandwich, but again worth the price.
Staff was very friendly and we will be back again.
The only real reason for the 4 stars was mainly the place was kind of hard to find, due to the business name was in small letters compared to the gyro and burger letters.
I think it should be the other way around.
But we will go back and try the burgers, they looked really good.

I’ve tried almost everything here. everything has been outstanding, they just under cook the fries badly or they would have gotten 5 stars

My husband & I had a hard time locating this place. The sign was small. I ordered the Southwest chicken sandwich. I was overwhelmed by the Hot buffalo sauce on it and ended up just picking at it. It was extremely messy. Tried cutting it in half but their plastic ware was so flimsy, thought the knife was gonna snap. My husband enjoyed his gyros plate… it was alot of food for the money.

My son and I both had the gyros platter and loved it. Quick. Tasty. Made fresh to order. Generous serving. We both wound up taking food home. Fabulous hospitality. Nothing fancy, but satisfying in many ways. If Lou is working, make sure to say hi and ask him about visiting Greece. He’s a good soul and a wealth of knowledge about where to go and what to do. His hospitality makes it fun and real.

Awesome!!! This place ain’t much to look at but if you have a jones for a truly delicious burger, gyro or any sammy this place is a must. Hubby and I are trying to figure out how this guy makes any money. Prices are low, portions are HUGE and the quality is outstanding. We have a new fav burger joint!!!

Great little place. They must make the cucumber gyro sauce fresh everyday cause it is the best I have had. The Burgers are really good as well and they are huge. You do not feel cheated with the amount of food given. A really good place if you are out and about and feel like pigging out a bit.

Lou has it all figured out. He has great customer service, amazing food, and a nice vibe going on at his restaurant. I used to go Just for the Gyro’s. But being there so many times I started trying other items on the menu, Beef, Hot Dog, Burger, Chicken Sandwich, They are all Delicious. Lou Works so hard and I feel like he knows the whole town the way people come in saying «Hey Lou, How ya been?» So, If you’re looking for good food from a nice hard working American, Look no further! Degeo’s is the place to go!

There are 3 key items in running a great local restaurant. Excellent product, strong customer service, and a good atmosphere.
I stopped into DeGeo’s on a whim, as it’s close to my home and I needed a bite. Got a polish (maxwell, is there another way?), fries and a drink for $ 5.99. The polish was so good, I went back for another. Excellent product, keeps the customer coming back.
Upon waiting for my second helping, I had the opportunity to observe others ordering. EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER NEW THE OWNER BY NAME. He is the only one who works there, and he works his tail off. He also has custom orders for regular customers, and I saw him give out free fries to a couple of kids ordering. Strong customer service in the bag.
When you walk into DeGeo’s, you feel like you’re in a Chicago spot. You can smell the gyro, and the sound of grilled meat is constant. Talk of the Cubbies and the Hawks is around, as good, hardworking people frequent the spot.
Looking forward to my next meal at DeGeo’s. Two thumbs way up.

DeGeo’s is the real deal.
Tender Gyros, a great Chicago style hot dog, Maxwell style char grilled Polish with onions, specialty burgers, and a home recipe Italian beef. All excellent.
Since I discovered this place, I skip the chain place down the street, and get some real Chicago style food.

I’ve been going here for a while now. I stop in with a couple guys I work with for lunch because it’s right down the street and I enjoy lawyers. Today I went in to grab some food. When I got to the register the owner was in and I figured I share a little bit about what I do and that I can matey save him money on credit card processing. When I started talking about it he started getting irate ignorant and yelling. He was saying «I don’t know you so what you come eat here that means nothing. Don’t come here saying how ya doing man when I don’t even f***ING know you. For this me and my Co workers will never come back here and support a guy who acts like that to loyal customers the food is on the level of bowling alley food and as dirty as a mcdonalds only reason that we ever went there was the convince on our lunch break

Since last time I wrote about DeGeos something has changed. Lou has added a marinated steak sandwich, a marinated pork chop sandwich, Polish /​fried, but a staple remains the best kept secret in St Charles; his chicken sandwich. A full chicken breast, well seasoned on a wheat bun with lettuce and tomatoe. If you’re trying to find a substitute for some beef items in your diet. This is a great option.

We stopped in late on a Saturday. We really liked the food. The gyro plate was huge and very good. Everyone else had burgers and everyone liked what they had. Honestly, don’t go down the street to Portillos; support a local guy who has better food!!!

Great burgers and chilli, cheese fries. Owner works very hard and gets everything made quickly. Didn’t care for the new steak sandwich so that’s why I took away a star, but all around a good meal if you’re looking for something quick and tasty. Much better than McDonald’s.

What a freaking great burger and gyro joint. Use to work in town nearby and found myself frequently joint here for a bite to eat. Awesome food, awesome owner.

The food is really good, and the owner is unbelievably nice. My kids loved it. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice Chopped Salad and Rueben Sandwich here at DeGeo’s. Freshly made and delicious for a little Sandwich shop. Nothing too fancy here which is fine when you are on the go. Way better than the Subway next door. We will be back for sure!

I was here on a monday night to notice i was the only one customer through out my dinner. I ordered southwest chicken sandwich with frys. Service was fast and food was good as well. The experience would have been better if the sandwich was served in a decent plate instead of styro foam box the same applies to fries too everything was tossed into a paper bag thinking it was a to go. Even if it was a carry out you dont want your fries loose all over in your bag.

I enjoy few things as much as a do an ample gyro plate, and DeGeo’s did not disappoint at all. Not only was there version of a well known dish very nicely executed, but the serving size was truly enough for a meal and a half (don’t worry, that didn’t stop me from devouring all of it).
They’re on the far east side of St. Charles and could be easy to drive right past because of the busy North Ave traffic, but DeGeo’s is worth a stop.

Ok I am having the Mushroom Swiss Burger with grilled onions, Nico an Italian beef, Vincenzoand Stefano regular Gigantic cheese burger & fries.
Best place to bring your family and your team

Happened to be in St. Charles and took a flier on this place for lunch on a Saturday. The place was pretty empty at 1 PM and we got very prompt counter service. Had the Geo Burger (which has cheese and egg on top) — burger was well seasoned and the flavor combination worked nicely. Fries were fresh and the service was very friendly. My only complaint is that the burger was a little more well done that I would like — I mean, most burger places do their meat well done because of the risk of food borne pathogens, but this was REALLY well done — almost burnt. All-​in-​all, on par with the quality of the big chains and a little more personal.
