Weddings are such beautiful turning points in our lives. Brides and grooms work hard to bring their excitement and happiness for all to share and enjoy — in just this one precious moment, this one perfect day. In that single day your unique story unfolds. But weddings are more than stories. They are also art, art in the physical sense with their colors and textures… flowers and dresses… and the dozens of beautiful and thoughtful details. But, even more than that; there is art in the intangible — the unseen — that which is felt. There is art in the emotions — your love, your hopes, the promises and the dreams you share. There is art in the moments both posed and spontaneous, and in the moments in between. There is art in the light and in the shadows. There is art in the soul of your wedding — all revealed in the images we capture. How will you remember your wedding day? I want to make sure you have images that recall not just the passing of the day, but the Art of the day.
History
Established in 1975.
I have a BA in Fine Art and Photography giving me a unique perspective on capturing weddings as art. Having shot my first wedding in 1973, I bring many, many years of experience and knowledge to every wedding I shoot. My husband, Ian, has been in the media business since the mid-1980’s having been a film editor, videographer, and media arts director and instructor. Our experience as a photography team is unequaled. Our training and experience assure brides and grooms that our technical skills are at the highest level and our creative eye is born of talent and years of seeking grace, elegance, and beauty.
