Meet the Business Owner
Mabel B.
Business Owner
Mabel has collected rocks since she was a child. She collected rocks all across the United States while she was a long distance truck driver. She started doing gem shows in the 80’s and finally purchased the store in Spruce Pine in 2002 and opened in 2003. Spruce Pine is in the richest mineral area in the USA.
Mabel is a Native American woman in her 60’s, but is extremely active. She loves to spend a day at the mines collecting rocks. She has equipment to finish the rocks into usable size for others to make jewelry or use as specimens.
Mabel has a great ability to help others. She has items in the store to remove pain and disease for people. She also users her hands to relieve pain through reflexology and positional release therapy.
Mabel is active in the community. She helps at the food bank, and at the gem shows.
