Spruce Creek Tavern is an iconic venue in central Pennsylvania for good eats and drinks in a cozy atmosphere for friends and family. Whether you’re a Spruce Creek local or coming through from out of town, you’ll find something here that fits your appetite and palate. We’re famous for our wings and fries but have a big menu with plenty great comfort food on it, as well as specials all week long. Looking for lunch? Check us out on Wednesday for a Soup and Salad for just $ 6.25. Some of our dinner specials include Stacked Ham or Beef with any appetizer for $ 8.25 on Thursday. Fridays we have special deals on fish dinners and sandwiches. At Spruce Creek — you’re moth will water but it won’t hurt your wallet. Some people come here just for the fires — They’re that good! In a hurry or on the go? Grab anything we have for take-out all week long.
If you need a large dining space, our recently renovated dining area has plenty of room and we also have an outdoor seating area for those warm summer days. At Spruce Creek Tavern, we’re involved in the community we serve, sponsoring youth sports teams and school programs. History
Established in 1955.
Spruce Creek Tavern has been a staple of the community since the 1950’s dishing out delicious food and its famous fries. We’ve had many guests over the years including famous faces like Bill Mazoski and Jimmy Carter just to name a few. Our mission is to keep the family friendly tradition alive at Spruce Creek and keep going strong for another 60 years.

Business Owner
Leah’s husband, Lucas grew up in the area, and worked in construction until 2010 when he and Leah were looking to change their professions and bought Spruce Creek Tavern. They love the mix of clientele at the tavern and enjoy being a part of the community they love. Leah and Lucas hope that whether you’re a local or from out of town, you find something special here at Spruce Creek Tavern.
